  When I test drove 2001 v70 XC this month I knew it was the car for me. I always liked the practicality of Subaru Outback but terrible engine. Edit : the transmission is slipping after one week, here we go!

  Nice to see you are doing adventures together with your loved ones. And nice areas as well. For me its unbeliveable that all these big historic Bunkers and stuff are free to visit and in "good shape". Here in Germany everything is locked Up, destroyed by vandals or, when it is in good condition, you have to pay for it...

  😁 the camera dji osmo action was mounted, but on tight turn started to roll to other side. It was funny moment and camera survived many more trips.I still use same camera.

  I hade a XC70 2,5T MY 2006, automatic transmission, between 2009 and 2015. It was a wonderful car and I still miss it. It was perfect for Swedish winters. Now I drive a 2019 Skoda Superb 4X4 but every now and then I thinking of getting a XC70 again.

  also it is easy to put a cheap suspension lift on grand vitara. I don't know if you can do that on Outlander. We'll see how reliable is the new car.@@lostforfun5328

  Are the Floodings in your area typical for this time of the year? Will you "customize" the Outlander like you did with the Suzuki?

  Floodings are typical, when lots of snow starts to melt. But i notice it starts more often than usualy. Yes outlander needs some mods 😊

  Sounds like you just need a new headgasket not a new engine. While you have it as your toolshed, consider taking off the head and inspecting if there is any other damage. While you might not keep it, if you fix it you can at least sell it. And if you DIY head gasket change, it shouldnt cost more than 100-150 eur. In klaipeda resurfacing head was about 25 eur few years back. Just question is if there is anything else wrong.

  Your English is pretty good...doing just fine with it. I don't have anything faster than f/1.4 but this lens is awfully tempting. In full sunlight...add a polarizer to the lens...it should add back in some contrast and pop...you lose a little light...but so what...it's full sunlight. You still get the crazy depth of field...and it won't look as washed out. Great video...subscribed.

  I am no longer xc70 person, but my volvo had broken awd system, and ignition coils was failing after long trips (must have few spare ones). But it was awesome car. I think other guys will give you more information. Thanks for waching 😊

  Duuuuuuuuuuuuuude! If You have problem with elbow because of handrest - DO NOT BUY OPEL INSIGNIA first generation. It has so crappy handrests (elbow rests!) and that is why I sold that car and bought V70 2006 :)

  @@lostforfun5328 you can use anything that exports gpx. That can then be imported in Google Maps to share. There are overlanding specific apps too, but they are usually paid. And if you need company some time, let me know. My xc90 should be able to do overlanding here in Baltics.

  If you will unscrew the drivers door sensor and make it loose, you will not get a ring with ign on acc. and driver door open. you can also unplug seatbelt under your seat, you will not get a ring without driver seatbelt

  I have many problems with my Volvo V70 that I want to sell it. Head gasket, oil leak in crankcase. AC blows hot air and activates itself, discharges the battery. Is it really worth continuing to fix it or is it better to change for another vehicle?

  Hi, in Lithuania any river or lake needs permision for fishing but its cheap, so fishing is very popular. And my grand vitara is with stock suspension, i just use r17 rims with 225\65 tyres.

  Xc 70 have more space and comfort. And grand vitara drives very well in off road. Cars are like tools for me, every single have one superpower :)

  Suzuki grand vitara 3rd gen or Mitsubishi Pajero 3rd Gen or Nissan X-trail 1st Gen which one is more reliable engine/suspension and better offloader in the same time.

  Hi, i think that pajero may be the best for reliability and offroading, they are made for that. But xtrail and vitara have better fuel economy more suitable for daily driving. All of them are awesome cars. Thank you for comment :)
