That poor girl.Must have been an immense relief to be rid of all of that overgrowth. She was so well-behaved,too.Kudos for handling her so gently. She looked a bit shell-shocked at first, until her brain said Hey,I'm free! Off to graze, and hope that she's shorn more regularly in future.

Such a beautiful service you gave to this poor sweet creature. It must've been torture to have to carry that filthy, matted blanket for so long, and traumatic to have it removed. But you treated her with love and respect and it literally brought tears to my eyes to such tender, loving care given to this beautiful creature. You provide such a great service to these peaceful lambs. God bless you for that.

❤🧡💛 I love that you all do these videos. It warms my heart seeing how much care you put into caring for these animals. You can see just how gentle and kind you are while shearing Penn, making sure the matt doesn't pull on her too much, ensuring she's as comfortable as possible, etc cetera, but there at the end when you give her a gentle, loving rub down, you can see you truly care. Thank you for putting so much care in your time with the animals! 💚💙💜

I thought it was my tablet but other videos were fine so I didn't get to hear why this sheep was in this condition. She was so well behaved and you were so gentle and controlled her fear thru your firm but gentle touch. And stroking her at the end let's her to off with something positive at the end. The relief that sheep must have felt to feel all that weight off. That heavy, thick, matted wool is probably uncomfortable and itchy. Especially when it is wet. The sheep appeared relaxed throughout the shearing. Unharmed. It's always easier to ask a question and have someone else answer. It's more lasting knowledge if you read up on shearing yourself. Great job trimming that sheep. Tough matted fur and holding her right had to be rough on you. Thanks for sharing 🐑

I think you wield those shears like a artist wields a paintbrush. When someone uses a tool with care and thought for a long time it becomes an extension of themselves, that’s totally happened for you it’s neat

You're the best because you're so gentle with these animals while getting the job done! Its very evident that you love what you do!!! Just wondering are you not concerned about protecting your face from particles, as you do your job? I'm new to your channel, and I love watching you work.

The way she is being so patient and sitting still. You really can tell she knows you are there to help. I bet she feels 1000% better getting that hard shell off of her. Very satisfying to watch as well although no sound is a bummer.

I think that was the hardest shearing job I have watched you do. Thank you for being so patient and going back to give that sheep an extra shearing after you had to work so hard to get that wool down.

No. These and most nicks are very superficial. The wax they produce, lanolin, is a natural antiseptic and does a great job of caring for those nicks. Anything major would get additional care, but that’s rare.
