Just keep thinking about the birth story you 'do' want and send those thoughts out into the world 🙏🥰. Either way, you and babe will be safe and healthy and your story will be your own unique story. Im 41+ 3 and just praying A LOT! I was due before my sister and cousin and they BOTH had their babies so im just talking to God all the time and trusting the process. I have a doula staying w me, communicating with my midwife who has swept twice as well & we have tried everything. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

I’m currently 42+1 day pregnant. Just waiting for natural spontaneous labor. Refused all inductions so far (though from 0 support from the whole OB team-instead just keep getting harassed) I understand policies are policies BUT the medical field does not give enough credit to mothers instinct or choice. It’s very sad. My baby is smart enough to pick her own birthday. My body was smart enough to conceive, and then grow a child beautifully; it is also smart enough to know when it is the right time to give birth.

@@MS.UPDASCO It went very well! I gave birth naturally at 42 weeks 4 days!! No pitocin, no epidural. My labor was only 4 hours long! It was amazing & so empowering. No pain just intense pressure. Baby was perfectly healthy & all the nurses/doctors said she showed absolutely no signs of being post term!

I can't believe she hasn't come yet! haha! My OB/GYN doesn't like women going past 41 weeks, so thankfully with my second baby, my water broke at 40 weeks +2 days, just 30 minutes before my checkup! We would have been talking about induction at that appointment. Whenever little Miss P decides to make her grand entrance, I hope you have a smooth, uneventful labor & delivery and I hope you two will recover quickly. Aaahhhh, I'm so excited for you, come out already P!! 💓🎀

I'm 40 +3 with induction scheduled for 5/23. I feel that sense of relief knowing I have an end date too. I am still working from home through tomorrow. I give myself the same pep talk every day lol. I haven't tried accupressure but I'm intrigued now. I've tried the rest too. Good luck!

I am 41weeks and 1 day 'overdue'. Nco... your lovely one reminds me of his peer at he now. I'm in hospital since yesterday. Doing different exercises to induce labor without any improvement yesterday till earlier on had been super devastating. Thanks a lot indeed to the same support of prayers and words of encouragement. That has helped me do away with all the negativity around. I'm still holding on tightly to faith enabling me to be naturally induced and to naturally deliver,God willingly. Thanks a lot for the bonding suggestion. I believe it might be what's left for me coz keeping a journal where I've been sharing my journey with him is helping me so much to stay positive against all odds. Thanks a million for the tips. Even knowing you aren't the only one truly helps out. I am having faith that change will arrive and I will receive what I believe God for,now whether I see change or not,I keep positive, exercising and visualizing the ideal end

I'm 40 weeks and 4 days with my second child. I had my daughter at 38 weeks 5 days. Sigh. So I'm very very frustrated now.

I've tried all that but I'm 40weeks and 5days today. My baby is moving and kicking but I'm still at 2cm. But my induction date is in 4 days. I'm so happy and ready to see her. 😍😍👶💕💕

Aww, hang in there! That last week, I just stomped around the house feeling like Godzilla, so I feel ya on the beached whale thing. I did three sweeps in total (at 40, 41, and 41+6), and that third one did the trick! It finally put me into labor on the last possible day I could have an out of hospital birth (James was born at 42 weeks exactly, 8lbs 2oz with a very easy natural unmedicated labor). Haha, yeahhhhhh. Castor oil I tried as a desperate move, which I would never do again. Not worth it! Keep up the great attitude! You're doing awesome!

I’m 41+4, baby No3, becoming a bit anxious about needing an induction…. I have been refusing the sweeps so far.. my first 2 were both born at 42 weeks exactly but the first one was born after I had a sweep, with the second one had 2 sweeps that weren’t effective and had my waters broken which brought on labour… I so much wanted to experience the spontaneous labour, but now I’m less optimistic I can labour without stimulation 😢😢 also people asking how I am and if I’ve had the baby yet is really getting on my nerves!

I have been checking in daily, I'm glad to see an update. I was concerned. I was late with my 1st and it was excruciating and it was July. I feel your pain. Praying for you all. Our little guy Bennett is expected May 30th, but any moment would be ok with me.

40+4 here and still waiting! We got this girl! Feeling crampy and ready for this to be over and to have my little girl in my arms. I have been doing acupuncture I addition to everything you've listed too!

IT IS FUNNY BECAUSE WHEN I WAS GOING TO HAVE MY4 BABY GIRL. SHE DIDN'T WHEN TO COME AT ALL. MY 4 1/2 YEAR OLD BOY WALKED UP AND PUT HIS HANDS ON MY BELLY AND TOLD HER TO GET OUT. SHE KICKED HIS HAND. WHEN HE TOLD HER TO COME OUT TO HIM. MY LOOKED AND SAID THAT IS NOT NICES. THEN HE TOLD HER AGEIN TO GET OUT SO THEY COULD PLAY. AND BY 12:45 am THAT NIGHT SHE DID JUST WHAT HER BROTHER TOLD HER TO DO.

Praying for a safe and easy delivery!! Baby P loves it on the inside that she's just not feeling ready to make an appearance!!! I was 2 weeks overdue with my second ( and last ) baby, I was induced and all went well, he was 9 pounds and 14 ounces !!! It was such a relief to give birth and I felt fantastic after having him , like I could have ran a marathon !!!! Lol best of luck !!!! She'll come!! I know it's frustrating but try to enjoy these last moments.....

Two tablespoons of Castor Oil in Orange Juice worked for me. It was disgusting but two hours later I was in labor. I wish you all the best and hope Mrs. P. gets here soon.

I am currently at 40 weeks and 4 days. I have had 4 very painful membrane sweeps from 38 weeks and on. I’m a very small person only at 4 feet and 11” tall, so that’s why my OB is making sure my baby isn’t to big for me to deliver naturally. It took 41 weeks 3 days and it’s Christmas when i was in labor then at the 26 my baby girl was born by a cesarean. 💕

I am always late in pregnancy, im 36 weeks almost 37 Saturday. I hope I am not late this time. I am swollen and super uncomfortable:( prayers and love to you!!! I think she will be here and heathy soon!!!

You are a rockstar! Way to go mama. Almost there! Ok, when I was over due with both my girls, I swear this sent me into labor. I think it's all about the position of the baby. I got on my hands and knees & did pelvic rocks and arched my back. I swear that moved my girls (how ever slightly) into the exact right position to send me into labor. You better believe I will be doing that with this 3rd pregnancy at the end! Good luck hun!

I was 41 weeks and 3 days when I was induced and my son was 8 lbs 9 ounces and I had a vaginal delivery so you got this!

The weekend I went into labor with my last baby I walked 14 flights of stairs after work one night! I also had a membrane sweep and went into labor 2 hours later. I'm not convinced any of this stuff really works though. I didn't do much with either pregnancy because I was so miserable I was afraid I'd try things getting my hopes up that it would work and then get depressed if it didn't.

41 + 2 today!! Feeling so defeated. Have been in latent labor for 3-4 days now, mainly having painful contractions at night, which completely sucks, since that means I haven't been sleeping now in 3-4 nights. I'm thoroughly knackered!! Have no idea how the heck I'm going to birth this child! The pains have been so intense and this isn't even it yet! I think I'll lose my mind if I make it to 41 + 4.

He is so sweet. Oh goodness. I've gone over 41 weeks all three times. Just reached 37 weeks with #4 and I'm desperate for a 38 or 39 weeker this time, for military family reason lol. Obviously I never have much luck with the old wive's tales but I do the harmless ones anyway. If I get to 40 I may try acupuncture. Trying to accept DH may just miss this one. 1 out of 4 isn't bad for an Army family lol

I think 42 weeks is max in the US. Hope you go into labor before the induction! Oh and your son is so handsome!! :)

I went 41 +3 days over. I went to the hospital for the stretch and sweep and had him that night. Best of luck ❤️

I went way over with my son so O can feel your pain. as for ways to get little ones out I was induced so I am no help there. best of luck and I can't wait to get to meet miss p when she makes her arrival. my next little one is not set to be here till July 3rd so still looking at 6 more weeks

I felt like being induced was a much calmer experience. Obviously going into labor naturally is ideal but I like to plan so once I had that date I felt relieved. I also enjoyed not having the stress of rushing to the hospital in pain! Haha.

41+4 here and doing a natural waterbirth at home... And I'm feeling anxious because she's probably gained enough weight to where it ll be harder on me...I wish I had good medical advice available like you guys 😭😭

Maybe consider spending one day just resting, without any physical activity. That could give a sign of change to her :)

I'm 40+6, 1 cm dilated for more than 4 weeks since 37 weeks and all that I've been doing is: 1. Walk atleast 6500 steps a day 2. Red raspberry leaf tea from 32weeks and each day 4 teas 3. 3 Medjool dates since 32 weeks 4. Stimulation using Hakka pump 15 min each side upto 1 hr a day for 6 continuous days since I reached 40 weeks 5. Castor oil method, twice 6. Ball exercises everyday 7. 25 Squats everyday 8. Duck walk pose 9. Membrane sweep 3times since 38 weeks!
