Overcoming the Barriers to Shared Parenting Presumptions - Dr Don Hubin

Forty years of research show us that, when parents live
apart, it's best for children if the parents share the day-to-day
responsibilities of child rearing as equally as possible. This
sort of shared parenting is also better for mothers and fathers.
Because of shared parenting's benefits for children, it should
be the presumptive outcome when parents divorce or
separate. Polling shows that the overwhelming majority of
Americans agree with this. Nevertheless, progress toward
establishing presumptions in favor of equally shared parenting
has often been blocked by special interest groups and a
number other factors. In this webinar, we will examine the
barriers to the creation of legal presumptions of shared
parenting, rebut the objections that these special interest
groups have raised, and explore paths for overcoming these
barriers so that every American child can be assured that
parental separation doesn't result in parental deprivation.

Australia just removed presumption of shared parenting in new federal Family Law Act 🇦🇺It goes against all the evidence in favour of PSP which you so excellently present here. Thank you for all your efforts ♥️

Not only do lawyers have a vested interest in complex cases. They write the laws that incentivize unlawful, illegal, and immoral filings without repercussions.

Where is the failings of social services? I thought that during Covid that social services would give back children that were taken back to their families

My sons are now adults and my sons. Do not know who I am and do not remember me. I only got to see my youngest two hours once or twice a year and I last saw my eldest when he was 16 and he is now21, 22 years old, and I was never invited to anything regarding my son
