I am 66 yrs old and I have always suffered from the fear of men and this year I repented asked God to forgive me since I did I can see a difference in me and the way I operate in the spirit ,I work with youth and I know I operate in the gift of the prophetic but I held back so much I walked around with so much self condemnation God told me that after I repented that I would walk through open doors and doors I have never been through in all my years of salvation 30 years and last nite The Holy Spirit moved and I stepped out to pray with some teens and I literally never felt any hesitation I felt God just show me who to pray for and you know right after service the devil tried to tell me I did it wrong ,and I just told him he is a liar because I felt God pour through me to them and that's what I have always prayed Lord just flow through me ,I don't want fame I just want them to know the love of Jesus is real and is possible in these days thank you, push forward young lady i hear your sincerity

The enemy comes for the very thing we are called to. So it's not surprising that he recognized your anointing to worship. The Lord told me ,He loves how chatty I am and He loves the thoughts I have toward Him! I continue to put my eyes on these words. They touched me to the core. 🎉❤

Thank you Kim for your “Thoughts on Thursday”. So much wisdom. I look forward to listening to you every week. Your example has led me to give my life to the Lord and to lead a righteous or rightful life doing only what is right. Your music has saved me so many times from my depression and fear. I have met you a couple of times and I have felt your warmth and caring for everyone. You were kind and patient with everyone who wanted to meet you. Thank you for everything you do.

I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me in my finances too, getting $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!

So good Kim, so good! You are spot on! It’s so refreshing to know that Iam not the only one that’s been feeling this way, seeing these things this way this last year! GOD is doing a new thing! It’s so easy to get caught up in what “man” thinks and then to allow ourselves to be locked up in fear! 🔥👊

Thank you Kim, So glad you are prepared to be vulnerable with us all. I too encountered the love of God when I was young. At 12 and was very free in worship. I became discouraged and pulled back from this freedom to love God and encounter His love. I am so encouraged by your journey. Keeping it pure and childlike is everything to me now - I just want to see as many people as I can encounter Gods love like that with out fear. I am in the middle of a church plant right now as the only worship leader. So blessed to have this encouragement this morning.

Thank you for being courageously vulnerable and sharing this part of your story with us. It is powerful. As a father of two little girls I know they will have to deal with the fear of opinions and misguided judgements. You have given us a glorious picture of what freedom in worship looks and feels like, and a map to find our way back from the darkness and silence of the fear of man. I was blessed to see you worship at The Call San Francisco in 2007. As soon as you began to sing your deep passion for God poured out, and it drew me and all of the young people I was with into a profound encounter with God's love. You continue to do so.

I so terribly want to move out boldly in what I know God has ordained for me to do but I really don't know how. My circumstances are screaming that it's impossible and I just see that I am getting older and not doing this thing. I'm so tired of crying about it. I've continously reached out to the Lord about it. I just don't know anymore. I am doing the other things He has ordained for me to but this one thing I have been fearful and when I finally desire to step out, I don't know how. It's just lonely out here Kim. I really bless the Lord for your life. He has used you so much to inspire me. I don't want to be like you because I am me, but I desire that full wild freedom I see in you. God bless you my sister. ❤️

Kim! *This. All of it.* Yes!! I am soooo thankful you didn't allow that moment from that worship experience to shut down your worship. Funny enough, I was just listening to See His Love, just having a time of humming "this is Jesus..." which is how I was introduced to you & Jesus Culture many moons ago in my 20s. I was like....Who is this in this hot pink top & jeans outfit tapping her hand against her thigh like me?! 😮 I love her and I'm thankful she's singing! Growing up in the church was like that for me as well, and "children should be seen, not heard." Definitely lies and I let it affect my worship all my growing up years. We all have gifts, and we're definitely all needed! God bless you for your faithfulness. Thank you. 😊

The new testament is clear! John 4:24 "...all who worship must worship in spirit and in truth." It's all the things you said, and this scripture boils down into it all but don't be afraid to quote the Word! But it's clear in its meaning and God's requirement of it. AND King David was a man after God's own heart and this is how he worshiped!🎉❤I love this new ministry of yours! Every blessing to you all!🙌💕💦💫🙏

When I watched a recent video of your testimony, I heard the story of what the enemy did to your heart when you were eleven for the first time. I can easily relate to your feelings and how I would have felt in that same situation. I recalled your testimony of the Father joyful over you...the image of I think a music box and you dancing when the lid was opened. And wow, it touched me because God went straight to that lie from the enemy and set the record straight. That's so beautiful to me.

Thanks sister for encouragement, my favorite church time was a lil full gospel church in the Hollow, so much love, everyone greeting n loving each other n we couldn’t wait to worship cause we all worshipped as One in harmony in unity! It’s a thousand times better than having a choir or loud instruments dominating over it all…… Try it sometime in concert just get everyone singing as one, all at the same level focused worshiping without anyone or instruments dominating…. Thanks for sharing it’s always a wonderful treat to be able to spend time hearing and learning. We are so blessed to have you as a beautiful loving holy sister that’s brought us such terrific music 🎶

I think that maybe when your were a child you came forward with a pure child like heart, full of sincerity, of expectation to meet the Lord again, to have communion with Him again and possibly your hopes and eagerness for the Lord were dashed when an adult came to bring you back "to earth", to remain on schedule. In these cases we have to teach our children that worship can continue beyond the church service, at home, in our daily life, in showing thankfullness. Worship for me is a deep sense of gratitude toward God that He loves us, cares for us and can do for us much more than we can imagine.

I went through something similar as far as worship goes looking back. It was just the devil‘s attempt to shut my mouth, most the time I was completely undone and worship, and someone had said something fairly derogatory to me about the way I worshiped, and it just kind of shut me up and push me away from the church for quite some timethat and a few other things but anyway there’s no stopping me now. Amen. Praise Jesus. Also just wanted to add that your song I believe was pretty much the catalyst to getting me back on my feet and of course it started with me being on my knees and tears.

As a child I have experienced emotional abuse. When I was in my teens I experienced extreme feelings of fear. I did not know what was happening to me and became afraid of situations that I felt this fear. As a christian I thought this feeling of fear was from the devil, attacking me, because I thought all fear comes from the devil. So I started fighting my fears, rejecting them. Got prayed over. This did not help and made matters worse. Later in life I found out that fear can also be a sign that there is emotionel pain in your heart. That fear wants to protect me against feeling this pain. That this fear is not the devil, not an enemy, but a emotional coping mechanism of my emotional system to protect me. Against the pain from the past and possible pain in the future. That I had to listen to this fear, thank it for protecting me as a child. But now, as a grown up man, as a reborn christian, I can feel and heal from this pain. In God's love. So I thanked my fear and said goodbye to it, with respect. Everytime my fear was triggered, by situations in the present that were similair as situations in the past, I said I did not need fear to protect me. That I can handle the situation, even if it would be painfull. And then I asked Holy Spirit to come in my heart in these places of pain. To bring God's Kingdom in these places. I believe we ourselves have to make this choice. Of saying goodbye to fear, and then feel the pain, surrounded by God's will and love. Now I am free of fear and feel God's love in my heart. It is God's love that keeps my broken heart together. My heart is now totally dependant on his love. My heart and his heart are one. God is love.

I was a part of a church for a long time where you would hear multiple people in the church say that you should NEVER come to church without an offering. They, of course, meant a monetary offering. And we see that example set in the OT, so I couldn’t put my finger on why it always unsettled me to hear it. And listening to you right now I’m realizing that I didn’t like youngest it because the offering we bring to God is supposed to be us, our hearts. Yes, God loves when we give cheerfully, but the only sacrifice He’s looking for is everything we are.

And I thank you for taking that step of faith and sharing it with us because though I know this myself, it is so encouraging to see an example of this in a world that is so plagued with fear! It’s truly so beautiful and I desire to do the same! So thank you for sharing your heart and worshipping God out of this place of freedom in the loving arms of your saviour! May God bless you abundantly! 💗 All glory and praise to God!! 🙌🙌🙌

God is not in a rush,he would rather us make level paths for our feet.He doesn't want us to be hasty and miss the way. We each have a responsibility to follow his leading. There is a preparation for any kind of change. Leadership and or the body of christ should only confirm what the HolySpirit is already saying. I have heard prophetic words that speak to me and some do not. The gifts of the Spirit are to edify and strengthen the people of God in their gifts and callings. God's timing is perfect. He knows when we are ready , The Lord is my confidence. He can be trusted.❤felt prayers in Jesus name

Such a beautiful image of true and pure worship! And in that place of child-like adoration worship becomes sacred in a sense that you want none of the "performance driven" and soulish hype. Its just pouring out our love to God in a place of total surrender and safety and being so close that we can hear His voice and heartbeat.

I have so enjoyed the thoughts on Thursday series. I have stepped away from worship after 25 years to make room for a new path. Believing God to tje impossible and open super natural doors as I make room. Love the new song and video. I live in Nj but have been to Glacier and Yellowstone/tetons 2x and Love it. Appreciate your messages and have been speaking to me so much
