Saying "yes" is one of the most powerful tools of surrender that I have run into. A lot of us think that surrender is all about saying no to things that displease God (and it can look like that sometimes too). But there are times - I daresay a great amount of the time - that surrender looks like saying yes to whatever it is that He has for us - even if that doesn't look like what we really wanted it to.
