Yes I found it!!!! I was obsessed with this video when I was younger and was amazed by how quick this woman overcame her phobia. I'm terrified of clowns and I don't think I would have the guts to face that fear like she did. I'm so glad that this video is still up and around KZread and I'm so happy to see it again after many years! And this was the first video I ever saw of Phil and Holly! I love Phil and Holly. They are probably the best TV presenters ever and I enjoy watching them.

It's common because every single human being was once a child and these phobias are usually formed from bad childhood experiences. Phobias aren't just being "Afraid" it's a legitimate disorder and is as valid as a physical disorder.

No you are wrong, it is not common. The people you see online claiming they are genuinely afraid are bullshitting. Any mentally stable adult is capable of knowing a clown is a clown. They may find them vaguely off-putting, but they are not afraid of them. People might justify their so called "phobia" because of the infamous John Wayne Gacy but he is not scary because of his shitty clown makeup. He's scary because he murdered people and hid them in a crawl space. A lot of people are fake coulraphobics because of this since they will point to extremely - often intentionally - evil-looking clowns such as pennywise from IT. Of course an evil clown is scary. It's scary because clowns are inherently innocent. They're there to enterntain and make fools out of themselves to make you laugh. When you give them bloody fangs and weird, smeary eyes and a hatchet, of course that's creepy. Don't point to intentionally creepy clown makeup and say that's why clowns are scary. That's scary because it's meant to be scary, not because it's a clown.

There was one town during Halloween where they kept having reports of people dressed like creepy clowns all over the place popping up on the side of the road and at playgrounds ect She might have died if she saw that.

I used to be scared of Clowns, there was once a Clown who visited my school and I ran away, but I've managed to overcome my past fear when I entered my teenage years. I still find them creepy no doubt. But my current phobia is the ocean, mainly due to a certain killer sea creature, you know the one.

How long ago did the button one air ? I remember that slighty , was it before the doctor regenerated into matt smith ( I judge time by that o.0) but I remember it. It's like one if those pointless but amazing memories .

I am not personally terrified of clowns, if I see a clown on a street, I won't scream bloody murder like others, but they do however creep me out. And while I do find them extremely creepy, they don't necessarily instill fear into me. I could describe it best at being comfortably settled into the uncanny valley. I won't have a full blown panic attack, but if there was a clown at the harvest festival in my hometown, I'll go down another street.

I can see why people would be afraid of them. Just how they look falls completely into the uncanny valley. :c

Her heartbeat is still high (over 100). This may in modern medicine ignored, but it actually is a problem. My recommendation to all watching this video is to take oriental medicine as a complement to your medication to complete your remedy.

This is a specific phobia and so much easier to get rid off than social phobia. I wish there were more documentaries about social phobia. It helps me to see and yet they're not around...

It all started when I moved-in next door to a Circus, not realising that the entire street was clown-based. In fact, the whole town was full of clowns...

Im kinda afraid of Clowns too. Not that I would turn around and go away, or that I would freak out, but I really ... just dont want to go close to them if there is a way not to. The make-up is scaring me somehow. That drawn smile.

I listened to this but I didn't really watch it, for obvious reasons; if I see one I have to get away from them, right away; at my worst I shook, I got really upset, I screamed and I had to cover my face with my pillow until it was gone, now if I see one in real life I can stay quiet (I'll scream in my head but not aloud) buuut only if they're 20 or some feet away, I never let them get close. I have to get away from them.

I'm scared of clowns. When I was a kid I had to undergo surgery and some genius decided that it would be nice if two clowns would visit a kid after surgery to cheer them up. I spent all day hoping they would not come. They came anyway.

I got traumatized when i was a kid watching IT,and thats when my fear of clowns started. Its not as bad as it used to be, but I still can't come face to face with one without being on the verge of a panic attack. It depends on the person. But mostly, phobias start as a result of a traumatizing experience. And researchers also say that people are scared of other people that have an unknown face or something like that.
