I brought my children to see Ken Ham in Denver in 2000 after being introduced to him through my Church's homeschool support group. I am so grateful for his teaching and resources. Every homeschool conference I added Answers material to my children's curriculum. It was fun and gave my kids and myself such a foundation and built biblical critical thinking skills. It’s unfortunate how much Gen-Z has fallen away and how humanistic they have become. It’s astonishing looking at the dramatic decline in church attendance from the oldest generation to the youngest generation. As someone who is a part of that generation (Gen-Z), and a part of the minority of Gen-Z that truly has a Biblical Worldview, I am saddened seeing my fellow Zoomers walk away from the faith, become entrenched in sinful lifestyles, believe the molecules-to-man conspiracy theory, etc. I pray for my generation and the other generations for their salvation, and for the Lord to enter their hearts. Unfortunately, the war on women is occurring in my family too. I am the only conservative in my family (though there are more conservatives in my extended family). The rest of my family are either liberal or too young to have political beliefs. My mother is liberal (not the woke liberal, but more like the classical 1980s-1990s liberal), and supports abortion, birth control, and feminism. I pray for God to show her that those things are wrong and anti-God. Thankfully, she is Christian and a regular member of our church, so it’s only a matter of time before she ceases to support this stuff. My brother seems to be very Libertarian and anti-pretty-much-all-authority, including God’s authority. He also supports LGBT “rights”, abortion “rights”, feminism, etc. I also pray for the Lord to enter my brother’s heart and for him to come back to the faith. My father is one of those weak fathers that just left the family, so I don’t really see him that much, but he seems to be somewhere around the liberal camp. Presumably, since he regularly watches leftist news sources, he likely supports the things that liberals generally support. I still pray for him to come back to the faith. Everyone else in my family is too young to have political beliefs. Regardless, I still love my family as Christ loves them, and continually pray for them. While my family’s stances on certain issues are a bit of a mess, we thankfully still attend a true conservative Christian church every Sunday and I serve in the kid’s tech area every other week. Though, one of the sermons in the kid’s church was about creation, which, while the content of the sermon was correct, one of the slides used the earth in its current form (all seven continents), which irked me a lot. There was also another time where, during a retreat to another church, one of the guest pastors was a compromising pastor, and proclaimed that Genesis is “poetic”, and that Genesis has truth in it, but how things happened was just a poem to the people of the time. This completely made by jaw drop, and I was so mad at what he said that I wanted to run up onto the stage and grab the microphone and tell everyone that what he said was a big fat lie. Obviously, I couldn’t do that, so I ended up going home since it was the end of the retreat, with my day basically ruined. The good thing is that the fire for me to learn more about God’s Word and apologetics grew significantly. I thank God for the folks at Answers in Genesis. Thank you for all the things that you guys do, and how you guys stand firm on the Word of God, without compromise. I pray for the ministry’s growth, outreach, and influence, and for everyone who works in it. If AiG did not exist, there would have been a significantly higher chance that I would not have developed a true Biblical Worldview, and later fallen away from the faith. Thank you. God bless.

I am always amazed at how big the gap in understanding is between Europe and America, even though at least white Americans all have European roots (including in my family). Certain words such as "humanism" or "liberal", politically "right" or "left" or "social" seem to have completely different meanings. In America they seemed to have a negative, derogatory meaning and in Europe the opposite or a neutral meaning.

Btw, secular scientists acknowledge a light source that predates the stars (older than any "sun"). Look it up! Try a search on "what produced light before stars were formed?"

EXACTLY how i feel too, especially the phrase :IN EVERYTHING ,later i realized that there are some limits, for example in Acts 5, it is obvious Sapphira could have known better than to join her husband in lying about their gift to the church, else where it says (i paraphrase) if a husband mistreats his wife- God will not answer his prayers and of course a wife can pray to the Lord to convict her husband of sin , if he does her wrong. but still, all in all , i'm so relieved not to be married anymore. the apostle Paul said that to in 1 corinthians 7, women, when they become widows, if they stay single, they would be happier. i agree.

Most churches today do not teach the scriptures. I live in Cincinnati, very close the Creation museum. It is so hard to find churches that actually teach the Bible. How do we expect to lead people back to God and to His Son, Jesus without true churches? I think we are experiencing what Jesus warned about. The hearts of many will grow cold and leave God. Our only hope is for Jesus to return. I wish we could it, but we just can't. It is going to have to be God doing it. Man can't do it on his own.

Actually Genesis Creation Account including 1-11 Chapters... Is a Salvation Issue because of The Foundation for Marriage and Believing God

Genesis 1:1 says "In the beginning, God created the heavens & the earth." What if this was the moment of the "Big Bang" when God brought the elements of the universe into being & it's irrelevant how many millions of years the elements combined & recombined to spread out & form all of the bodies in the Universe? Who knows how much time lapsed between Genesis 1 & 2? When he began in Genesis 2, the earth existed but was without form & was void; so from the moment God begins fashioning our solar system, that's when the 6 days of creation begins so life didn't exist for millions of years- only the non- living material. Nothing died before sin & there was no fossil record left until after the flood. Why is this hard to understand?

Many people are confused as to the line of distinction between the written ordinances, and that of the Decalogue. The distinction between the two systems is broad and clear. The Ten Commandments given by God on Sinai are perpetual ordinances, of which the seventh day Sabbath is included. However, the ceremonial system was a system established and made up of symbols pointing to Christ, His sacrifice, and His priesthood. This ritual law, with its sacrifices, feasts, and ordinances, was to be performed by the Hebrews until type met antitype in the death of Christ, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Then the Levitical priesthood, with its feasts and sacrificial offerings was to cease. This law, Christ “took ... out of the way, nailing it to His cross.” As to the Seventh-day Sabbath, it can be found only by the Lord's Calendar. It cannot be found using any pagan planetary calendar which is in use today.

Ken thinks when he lectures that everyone will automatically understand what he is saying but he needs to slow down and explain everything in layman’s terms in easy to understand words because he talks with so much passion he doesn’t realize the audience needs a few seconds to compute what he just said before he continues but he goes on and on without his audience being able to take in his lecture content and so unless one records the lecture, most of it goes in one ear and out the other!

As a teacher and someone who didn't have a smartphone until 2012, I noticed a huge difference in the ability to be focused on a speech, an opera, a book, anything that had good content but took effort or time to get into. The same was observed in my students. I think it doesn't matter what age you are, it takes training to be able to follow speeches like Ken Ham's. We train children to focus in class because it doesn't happen naturally. I think we can lose this skill ourselves, from not practicing it.

Ken is so passionate whenever he lectures and speaks in understandable language but he speaks so fast rarely takes a breath between points he needs to slow down and allow the audience to take a few moments to contemplate his words. That’s what I mean! It’s difficult to take notes when he lectures!

I have no problem following him and I am older. I typically have to speed everyone else up just to follow them. That's why there's a pause button a transcript and a speed option setting. Slow him down, speed him up, read the transcript, hit pause and take notes. His passion has great value! I appreciate how well he knows his material and scripture.

doubt is always good. it shows our critical nature to look for facts and not just accept everything without any evidence. The Bible makes claims without any empirical evidence. the whole gods word thing is just an excuse to not ask critical questions. And yes there are people without religion, I don't worship gods or any other deity. a worldview is not a religion.

I have to ask why do you try to discredit His Word? Why rage against Him if He is not real? Maybe whether you believe or not just grab that Bible you're trying to discredit and ask Him if He is real to show you. Just come out and ask, then read. Don't worry about looking silly by talking to Him that you don't believe in but genuinely ask then read. If He isn't real there's no risk, right? However if He is real, which He is, you may just end up finding Him like so many before you who tried to discredit/disprove Him and His Word. I don't want to see anyone be sent away from Him forever because this earthly life is but vapor when compared to eternity. I will be praying He opens your eyes and you accept the challenge because He tells us also in His Word that He wants no one to perish but instead to come to the knowledge of eternal life that can be found only in His Son. The Scriptures also tells us that He's always knocking, we just have to open the door... The greatest Man in history, had no servants, yet they called Him master. Had no degree, yet they called Him teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. Below are just a few of the many things that finally lead me to saving faith in the LORD, the fact that it's all true and has far surpassed the requirements of Historicity. With all of the evidence we now have there's simply no way I can logically doubt His Word and by extension the LORD Himself. These other books and writings from antiquity are held up as truth and in some cases factual history. These other books/poems and there evidence/sources: Second most common manuscript document Homer's Iliad meaning there are more copies of it than any other secular writing/document from antiquity of which only 643 exist dating from 13th century AD. Homer is believed to have wrote it in the 8th century BC. The Gallic Wars of Cesar in 1st century BC, there are only 10 manuscripts of that in existence dating over 1000 years after they were supposed to have been written. Herodotus wrote of history and is known as one of the first historians 5th century BC and only 8 manuscripts exist and they are from more than 1300 years after he wrote anything. History of the Peloponnesian War written by Thucydides. There are only 8 manuscripts that are from 1300 years after he supposedly wrote his account. Side notes on other religions: Book of Mormon and their various writings prior to the 1820-30's = 0 as in nothing has been found to support any of it except where it is clearly plagiarized from Scripture. Of the 37 different qurans that can still be found today there are a great many differences in doctrine, some 93,000+. All of those were written far to late as in centuries after their prophet supposedly lived. We find early Jewish and Christian Scripture that has been altered to fit a narrative of power hungry men in their books. Mecca didn't exist in the time their prophet supposedly lived. Yet it is supposedly the eternal city, the first city on earth where Adam and Eve came down. Almost all early mosques face Jerusalem and not Mecca and Mecca does not exist on early maps of that time. Now let's look at Biblical proofs: We have a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They report super natural events that took place in fulfilment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are via divine inspiration, not from men alone. Jesus Christ healed the sick, blind, deaf, dumb and paralyzed, cast out demons, walked on water, fed thousands with little, and was resurrected all of which have eyewitness accounts. The feedings alone were witnessed by the thousands He fed on the two separate occasions that we are told of in the Gospels. John tells us that there were many more signs/miracles than what are recorded in the Gospels/Bible and that it would have filled the entire earth were they all to have been written down. There can be no doubt as to the accuracy of our current Bibles as it is proven via all the source fragments, scrolls, papyri, codex' and sources dating all the way back to before Christ around 700 BC for the OT and between 60 to 125 AD for the NT. We have more proof for God's Word than any other written word in history, it is by order of magnitudes more. The early Church Fathers prior to 325 AD: Those known as the Anti-Nicene Fathers writings contain over 32,000 quotes from the New Testament from which we could reconstruct the entire/complete NT from those alone. They also contain over 19,000+ quotes from the Gospels alone prior to 325 AD. The Bible is not just a book it is a collection of 66 Books all of which are linked together by One Divine Author. In this collection of Books there are over 40 authors but only one Devine Author who links them all together via the Holy Spirit. Those authors wrote down His inspired Word. The bulk of the New Testament was written over a period of around 50 years. It was in 49 AD to 53 AD when the Scripture writings of the New Testament are thought to have begun. With the last living Apostle John dying in 100 AD. Over a period of around 1500 years it was preserved and passed on: In 3 Languages On 3 Continents There are 66,360+ source documents that have been found for the entire Bible of which there are 24,360 and counting source documents for the New Testament alone. 5,839 in the original Greek, some 2 million pages 18,524 translations of that Greek into other languages Some of the oldest sources date to 60-125AD the latest of which are within decades of the completion of all the books that were canonized as the New Testament. Augustine of Hippo, (354-430), was one of the church fathers as they're known. He was a good teacher but flawed by the circumstances of his day. He taught during the time of monarchies and rather than offend them he went against those that came before him such as Clement, Ignatius, Irenaeus, Ephraim, Polycarp and many others. He's the first we see in history who downplayed and didn't truly teach the Doctrine of Eminency according to Scripture. I'd imagine those in the monarchy would not have liked to be told how the real and true King, our Lord and Savior, the Lord of lords and King of kings could return at any moment. As a result for all the sound doctrine and his magnificent work against heresies of his day Augustine has left behind in his writings. His lack of teaching on the doctrine of eminency has left a lasting impression on our faith. There's also another issue as he was a "supersessionist", meaning he taught that the Church, Christ's Bride has replaced Israel as God's Chosen. If you think that I would advise reading the Epistle to the Romans chapters 9-11. The Church has not replaced Israel but has been grafted into the "rich root" of promise. Those asking for "Scientific Proof" of the Bible are either ignorant or asking with evil intent. Scientific Method is basically: 1) Has to be observable. 2) Has to be testable. 3) Has to be repeatable. Therefore no history can ever be proven via scientific method. You must use the historical method based on: Eyewitnesses accounts. Documents from that time or as close as possible. Make sure the story is corroborated by as many sources as possible. Look for anyone/anything that attempted to prove any of it false in that time period or as close to it as possible. Did anyone successfully prove any of it untrue, if they did why has no record of it been found? Mathew = Was written more to the Jewish audience and that's one of the reasons for the extensive genealogy of Christ. There are also more references to the Old Testament in his Gospel compared to the others. Mark = The shortest of the Gospels and is very direct or "Just the Facts" if you like. His Gospel also contains much of the Apostle Peter's testimony and his eyewitness account/experiences of/with our Lord. Luke = Historian A man of science, a physician, an educated and logical man who researched and gathered the accounts of eyewitnesses. He recorded the actual eyewitness accounts of our Lord and Savior, those who had heard Him speak and were present/saw the signs/miracles He performed, such as the Apostles Peter and Paul. He did this because the life of those eyewitnesses were coming to an end due to age, or Martyrdom, and he was inspired to write them down via the Holy Spirit before they could be lost or perverted by time. John = Evangelist John is organized around 7 specific events/signs/miracles all seen by eyewitnesses and corroborated by many. So he also provides proof of accuracy/truth. All of the Apostles were eyewitnesses of Jesus and/or of the resurrected Christ. Including Paul whom Jesus came to as he was on the road traveling to Damascus to persecute more Christians. This would have been the resurrected Christ. There were at least 300 eyewitnesses still alive when Corinthians was written who could have disputed it but no one did. Mathias became the 12th Apostle after Judas hung himself so the argument of there not being 12 Apostles comes from ignorance or evil intent. Other cultures and non believer's historical documents show or corroborate many things that are in the Bible. Yet none of them prove any of it to be false yet they do strengthen it. No other book in history has the proof the Bible does, it is not even close. As I've shown because of the over abundance of source materials we can even be critical of what we have and know for certain that we have His Inspired Word. Word for Word and Optimal Translations prove just how accurate what we have is. Biblical Historian/Theologian AT. Robertson said, "We have a vast array of Biblical Manuscripts that allow us to reconstruct the Bible with more than a 99.9% degree of accuracy". With the number of archaeological excavations, (25,000+ and counting to date), it is only a matter of time until we see more ancient biblical texts and supporting secular evidence found. The Bible is the very Word of God, it is a collection of eyewitness accounts written by other inspired eyewitnesses. There's no longer any excuse for anyone to ignore that fact or to dispute it. The evidence simply does not support their arguments/views. Take care and God Bless...

They (like the rest of us) can make errors in remembering specific details and can even remember whole events that did not actually happen. in conclusion: eyewitnesses are notoriously unreliable, especially if a long period of time has elapsed since the event that is being recounted
