Just curious as to why you don't cut a 10" square of the background & cut the curves together...seems the waste would be the same, wouldn't it?

FYI that terrible burn on my thumb is from a cook mishap, not an iron gone wild LOL ;)

That is exactly why we should not cook!! I just slows our sewing down! I would "trim" my nail with a rotary cutter than suffer a burn!! I love your style... it is a lot like mine!!
