A lot of people don't realize that she was not allowed to date until 18: when you have that experience, you have a lot of catching up/developing to do in your twenties. I wasn't able to date until 19, and hit the ground running with old fashioned courting, without sleeping around and it was a good idea because I was learning what many others learn in high school.

I don't think Lori Harvey needs to be a role model to black women I think that black women need to be a role model to themselves. Lori Harvey is doing what women should do which is dating around and men do it all the time. I think some black women who are upset online are probably jealous about the fact that she has many options and these men aren't making her forever a girlfriend or a single mother. You're supposed to have many different partners when you're trying to find your husband why would she date one man and then become his wife that's not how it should go in my opinion.

I admire Lori's brand and hustle, but yes her dating life has started to give her an unfavorable reputation. One of the keys things young women admired her for was her ability to move on to the next without any announcements. With her last two relationships, that hasn't been the case. It's definitely time for a feminine reset.

I love the term "spiritual hygiene". Honestly I feel that she is losing it a bit. I admired her although I am much older, however as she builds her portfolio of dating the admiration reduces. I don't think she needs to stop dating but I do think she should mute her social media. Maintain her mystery for sure. I don't know how much it cost to breach that NDA but one day someone will pull that card to make a point.

Dating for connections is a lot harder. This is when your pretty or not.

I would suppose her mother is a sounding board and an influence in how she navigates her relationships. If you look on her mother’s pattern she dated quite a bit until she settled with Steve Harvey. I think Lori is probably doing the same. I also think she is being strategic and won’t settle down until she is in her 30s. Yes, people will continually ostracize her, partly because of jealousy but she is the one that opened the door for all of us to have an opinion. She is a socialite and an influencer, no foreseeable talent to promote such fanfare for her relationships. For example Halle and DDG, I can understand the commitment and the interest because she is a singer and a actress and has secured fans because of her work. All we know Lori for is she is a gorgeous girl who has a rich daddy and an influencer so I would then agree with your analysis Chole, that she needs to move more privately.

She probably gets out when the “red flags” show, I used to do the same thing and was able to get away without getting pregnant and having babies with “Mr wrong”, which set me up to meet Mr. Right and get married ❤.

I miss when things were more of a mystery. Now everybody business is shoved in our faces. We don’t even go looking for it. It’s over saturated and we still don’t know what else she has to offer besides looks and dating.
