@@treon8626Nikol Johnson also has great makeup tips for women over a certain age, I’m pretty sure she used to run a series of makeup tutorials for women in each age category, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and so on, she’s absolutely gorgeous and a real classy lady for her age which I think she’s maybe 48 years old, aging gracefully as a woman with gray hair and the clothes she wears are Absolutely Out Of This World 🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️
Yes over 60’s please. I’m almost 67. Seems like a lot of makeup artists are in their 40’s. I would love to see videos on people my age! Just amazes me how these 40 something women put on a layer of concealer under their eyes. I’m looking and thinking what are they concealing? I see no dark circles or imperfections that require all this concealer!
Thank you, This was great. Would love to see more especially for us older ladies - I'm 73.
FINALLY! Someone points out that fat pads shift and drop as we age and cheeks hollow. The last thing anyone needs who is experiencing this is contouring under the cheekbones. Your face is so beautiful I wish you would demonstrate this on someone older so that it would be really apparent. That would really be a public service for more mature women. Terrific video. Kudos!
Hello…I see a lot of praise…well deserved…AND lots of requests to feature an older model…AND…I’m offering to be just that! I’m 73 1/2 and I live in Houston and I haven’t had “procedures” of any kind…though I color my hair…I’d be thrilled to come to you and learn myself while you teach your fans! I work part time, but I’d be delighted to come at your convenience and I’d bring a Goode and Co pecan pie to sweeten the deal! How’s that for an irresistible offer? I hope you say yes! Ellen

And I can join you two for a 50yr old model. Makeup has been a love of mine for as long as I can remember. After doing makeup for over 35yrs Now, I'm having fun playing with it with my Granddaughters. My 5yr (5 May 7th) can do a full face of Glam. She was so upset with us when we told her she could not wear makeup to school. 😂 Unfortunately now I'm in a wheelchair from being injured in the line of duty after 12yrs of working as a Fire Fighter and Medic. I did that full-time and makeup on the side. I started a channel here, but, I have been doubting that people are going to want to see how a disabled woman in a wheelchair does makeup, or clothing hauls, shopping etc. But, I also know that the cameras and equipment you guys use is expensive and living off of what I get from Social security Disability is less than $1,300 a month. How's that for having paid into it with my taxes since I had my 1st Job at 14. It equals out to be between $3-$4 an hour LESS than minimum wage. Teenagers working at McDonald's are making more than what I get, how is that fair? And yet the Right side of the Political Spectrum wants to take the little we do get away from us. If I could get out and get a job, I would. I can't even tell you what my Career meant to me. It was everything. And I miss it Tremendously.
Oh my goodness, you don’t even need makeup , you’re naturally beautiful
I see so many influencers on KZread using way too much blush and getting the “all over the face” look you showed. Thanks for showing us how to get a softer blush look!
So happy to see makeup tutorials making their way back in! A lot of KZreadrs have gone away from it and it's just so much fun to watch and also to learn from and practice with! Thank you Lisa for another amazing video!
Hi Lisa. Some fabulous tips as always. How about a video for those of us over 60? I loved when you had your mom on. You did a marvelous job on her, but that was some time ago. I'd greatly appreciate it, and I'm sure others would as well. I volunteer to be your model! If only we were in the same state! Big hugs, sweet Lisa. 💖😘🩷

Please do a skin prep sequence routine for before makeup? For example: -moisturizer -serum -color correcting -pore filling -sunscreen -primer I feel like at my age i should be using all of them and I have all of them but I skip them because I don't know the correct sequence and my makeup looks wrong if I do.

Lisa is literally the only MUA on KZread that is actually capable of shade matching. No one else can do it and it’s infuriating they call themselves MUAs.
Yes please for women in their 60’s
More for over 40, please! The blush explanation was very helpful!❤
I loved this video because you did not make the "wrong" side wrong by a mile. Funny thing is that you look pretty no matter what. I also love that you let us know that the camera can make things look better than what they really are, especially with things like the foundation showing dry spots, texture, etc. I have seen Andreea Ali use Angie's concealer brush as well as other BK brushes.

Using velour/velvet puff for applying powder is a game changer. It just makes any powder work and helps in using minimal amount of product.
Please would you do a make over of someone in their 60s+ who has hooded eyes? As we age we need new tips of how to apply make up to eyes that no longer have lid space and have developed downward skin PLEASE 🙏
What no one really addresses with foundation is: yes my skin may be dry however I use multiple serums, moisturizer and spf under foundation and that doesn’t include a primer in the mix which I use on occasion. So even though my skin type may be normal to dry but till I get my skincare on my skin is no longer dry. So when I put a dewy foundation on I look like a greaseball. But I do agree with your recommendations. Thanks! 67 here and lately less is more for me.

yes dewy foundation also turns me into a greasball, and I also have 58 year old dry skin, same as you
I’m 32 and I have hated contouring ever since using makeup, I never understood wanting to structure the face it takes the youthfulness away. Give me all my youthfulness hahahah! Thanks for sharing this , finally someone is saying it ❤❤❤

Totally agree! Would love a video for 60+❤️
I agree with others, please do more for over 60 faces too. I love your videos.
My absolute favorite video! I’ve played while applying make up a few times. The eyeshadow is so true. I was doing the way I did in high school! My daughter nicely told me to blend, blend, blend. Thank you so much!

Wow, Lisa, you quickly helped me simplify my makeup, for my "more mature" face. Thank you! The bronzing versus couture was a wonderful tip!
FINALLY someone who explains the "why" and the "how"! I am set in my ways! But, once you explained the wrong way of applying the foundation, I realized that's the way I had been incorrectly doing it for years! I'm going to throw out the old way and try your way today!!
I LOVE this video. I appreciate what not to do, a lot. However, seeing what not to do and then what to do instead is so very helpful. And watching you do it and explain what and why is so very helpful!
I learned more from this makeup video than any I have ever watched. Thank you for the length and amount of in-depth of information. You are incredibly articulate and your demonstration and ideas are for the average woman who likes a more natural made up look.

Aww thank you for that feedback! ❤️ I’m glad it was helpful!
I've learned about shadow and eye liner
Would love to see a video tutorial for those of us over 60 on a model over 60 please! I would volunteer!
I never put foundation under my eyes. I start with a lite moisturizer, let it sink in, add a color corrector, then concealer, let it set and use a lite touch of setting powder with a puff or small brush. This works great for me and I’m 71.
THANK YOU for doing a good job on the "bad side" I feel it was a much more realistic example.
Lisa, you are so delightful! I really want to start using brushes for foundation application, but haven't been able to wrap my mind how; it seems like it'd be a ton of work if you have to wash them every single time you use them. But then if you DON'T wash them, it would seem like a bacteria trap. I've gotta be missing something here! 😂
I like the don’t side way better, and I really don’t care what anyone else thinks. Do whatever you like regardless of your age. If you feel good, it shows.
The eyeliner wowed me! Thank you so much for showing this truth ❤
I really like the under eyeliner technique. Using a lighter liner and smudging. I’m trying that in the morning. I’ve always used just shadow but it doesn’t seem to stay put.
Please do more like this Lisa! I need all your help. Thank you so much!
How do I find the right color for concealer and foundation?
Yes, quite a difference Lisa, thank you for all this advice... The hardest thing for me is the choice of concealer... I'm progressing, I'm progressing hahahha🤩🤩🤩

Oh, I've seen several YT creators wearing blush the wrong way! I thought it was strange, now I know it's wrong!!
I appreciate this so much. So helpful. A few questions: 1. What is the best way to find the right shades for foundation, concealer, bronzer and blush? 2. Can you recommend your favorites brands that are cruelty free? Thank you so much!
Hello 👋🏽 my friend Lisa, This is a great video. I absolutely love all of the techniques & tips for makeup over 40. I would love to see a series for each area. Love the suggestion of the correct amount of foundation . How about a stick foundation? How much would you use? What about color correction? You always look gorgeous . Thank you 😊. Cheers 😉🌷
Hi Lisa, I am new to your channel - Nikki La Rose brought me here!! I loved, loved this tutorial .. I am now addicted to your videos!! I learned a lot from the blush placement and also the difference between contouring and bronzing - I am 54 and the contour/bronzer thing really puzzled me, so this was really informative. I also hate using powder to set my undereye because it always, always goes creasy/cakey no matter how little I use or what powder I use ... not sure what's going on, but I would love some tips on that. To be honest, I think when I don't use powder and just use a self-setting concealer things work out better for me (It might be just me!!). Thanks for this xx
Hi Lisa!! Thank you so much for this video!! I love it and please do more in the future! The most important thing I learned from this is the eyeliner demo, I also took notes and saved this video as well. Thank you again! ❤
