It doesn’t matter how many times I watch it, 9:56 does irreparable damage every time. I remember watching live and not being able to fully comprehend what had happened and going back the next day and rewatching it 30 times just to digest. Once they came out I had to revisit it another 50 times. It truly hits different because they “never gave up” even if it took a decade. they didn’t give up. pain.

I think Dan may have said some slightly off colour things in his intensely internalised sexuality 2012 phase but like,,,, I do not blame him for being slightly rude and standoffish to a fandom who was functionally sexually harassing him during that period and he never said anything actually bad, at best slightly rude or a little edgy, nothing else

their recent comeback on the gaming channel really made me think about them after a lot of time :) for me it’s the literal proof i’ve never forgotten how essential they were in my everyday routine… they probably have no idea how many young people they’ve actually helped with their online presence. as an italian they represented some sort of secret escape for me, since no one here knew them and i could talk about them to just a friend
