For me it’s contouring. I’ve just bought that Fenty stick but in the shade Truffle and I’m afraid it’s too dark for me... Your video has been very helpful so I’ll try to apply your tips! :)

When I first started watching makeup tutorials, it was of people in their 20s using tons of concealer under their eyes, baking, using tons of contour and highlighter. I tried to emulate that... UH, NOOOO!! Luckily, I was able to find channels like yours that are much more realistic for my age and skin type etc. Highlighter is tricky for me as it can make my fine lines jump out even more. But I just go light with it or avoid it all together. This is such a helpful video. You have made such a positive impact on my makeup application. I just love ya!!

Thank you for this video. I especially liked the tip of starting the blush form the back and moving forward and stopping before getting to the apple of the cheek.

At 48, blush placement has been a game changer for me and with what my face looks like. I used to place it too far down, on the apples of the cheeks, but as you mentions it doesn’t work for those of us that are older.

I have been using some acne medication that has been drying out my face so I have been drawn to cream products more recently. I liked you included both in this video. The tips on placement were also very helpful. If I am in a hurry, I sometimes omit bronzer and highlight.

Thx for all the suggestions, esp about where to place blush when u have a long face. Also REALLY appreciate mentioning the brushes used. It's one of the many things I luv about Hung Vanngo as well.

I would absolutely love to see a video on cream products for oily skin because as far as I’m concerned I can’t use them. I feel like using all powders helps foster a matte, non-oily complexion. That said, I’m intrigued and I’m sure some are better than other for oily skin but idw buy 6 Hugh end cream products to find none or one that don’t break up makeup. Or ones that work well under powder.

Oily skin person here! You can def use cream products. I love the Milk baked bronzer and I have all sorts of different cream blushes that I like e.g. Milk, Nars, Nudestix. I’m not overly keen on cream highlighters because I think they show my pores more than powder not because they slide off my face.

Hey Stephanie! New to your channel and I’m LOVING your tutorials. I too place blush on my forehead and elsewhere. I can’t remember where I read or saw that. The tips for highlight will be useful. I’m loving using my bronzer. I do it like a contour and like how it turns out. I’ll try your contour/blush techniques and see how it goes. I also saw another KZreadr talking about blush and not placing it on the apples. That didn’t quite work for me. I felt like my face needed the placement on the apples of my cheeks. We’ll see with time if that continues!! Love your stuff! Thank you!

Hi Stephanie, you do contouring, blush and highlight like I do. I use my bronzer Guerlain Terracotta in Natural Brunettes as my contour. I don’t put bronzer all over my face. I feel that this shade does have some grey to it so it works well. I, like you have combination skin and I will be 67 next month so I use the three in powder form. Yeah, the placement of the blush is critical. Like you, I start from the pupil out on my upper cheekbone..(I also have a longer face). Contouring-follow the hollow and that’s from Charlotte Tilbury! I will try extending my concealer further out from under the eye like you showed. Thank you for the nice video!

Great video, Stephanie! Your blush tips are things I learned 50+ years ago. Both Risa and Elle did similar videos recently. Placing the blush on the apples of the cheeks has never worked for me. I’ve always felt blush emphasizes my eyes with a higher placement. I hope you are safe with the storms coming your way. ❤️

New to looking for tips, and yours were so helpful thank you. My problem is I have pigmentation on my lower cheeks and and middle right side of my forehead. I find that I put so much effort in covering this, and then when I try blend the contour... it messes that up😑. Any suggestions for that? Wish I could get the look you've done, you look amazing. Heading for 44 so really helpful.

Hi. 58 year old fair Black woman here- no wrinkles, lines , loss of volume or dark circles. But I am starting to have melasma. So how do you do makeup with melasma or hyperpigmentation? Most women or color list these concerns as they age over wrinkles, lines, ect. Thank. Love your videos

Color correcting before applying foundation is your best bet with melisma, discoloration, and hyperpigmentation. Finding full coverage, long-wearing foundations that don’t look heavy is helpful as well. I may have just found a great one I’ll be posting about soon! Thank you!😘

You don’t have to be overweight to have a double chin. Could be sagging skin or genetic
