Contour vs. bronze was the most confusing makeup when I started watching KZread for learning techniques, lol. Can you relate? I felt like they were the same thing just two different browns and sometimes the same brown. I finally realized the difference but they don’t have to be done that way. I usually just put some bronzer on and call it done. The highlight application that I really dislike is shining up the tip of the nose. I’m not sure who benefits from a glowing nose tip. Any,way, it is absolutely the rule that makeup is personal and you should wear it the way you like. Great video.

I think it looks ridiculous when people put highlighter on the tip of the nose (looks even worse when the highlighter shade can be seen from space) x
I like how you applied your blush over your highlighter in the end. It looks more natural. Thanks for all the tips. Enjoy your day!🍁
I am so grateful I found your channel! Your explanation of bronze vs contour vs highlight cleared up my confusion over what to use with my goals. I have been at a loss with makeup as my skin changes in texture. Your tips and tricks have really helped. Thank you for including products I can find easily, and without killing my budget!
Great video and so helpful tips. One I like is the wet & wild contour stick. Thank you so much for being here for us !
Thank you, your videos are so helpful. As I age I find I am having a harder time applying make up that looks right. I love your channel ❤️
Thanks Lisa, I like the tip of putting blush over the highlighter. I am going to try it!
Ooo can’t wait to watch, your technique/lighting/application videos are actually helpful!! I know this will be a winner too, hoorah & thank you Lisa 🍁🍂❤️!!! PS. It was! And agreed, no real dupes for CT (well definitely not on me lol)
This was such a great explanation and demonstration - very clear - of these different products. Thank you so much!
I bought the Laura Geller bronzer in medium yesterday. I'm have warm undertones, and about a shade lighter than you, and wasn't sure if I should get the light or medium. After seeing how it looks on you, I'm glad I got the medium. i can't wait to get it and play around with it.
I love talking about this topic 😊 b/c there are so many people who believe that women over 50 shouldn’t even wear “any of the above” which I emphatically DISAGREE with….makeup is supposed to be fun & when it becomes too serious, I’ll just stop! I think any & everyone can wear bronzer, contour, blush, & highlighter if they want to. It’s all about how you apply it but this is true at ANY age. We’re all incredibly lucky there are SO many amazing products available that are flattering, don’t enhance texture & pores, etc. (which, BTW, any of us can have at ANY age).
Makeup is so therapeutical!!! Thank you for this tutorial! :)
Loving your content and appreciate the help.
Hi Lisa 😊 This is really a great video! Love your blush, bronzer and highlighter tips! You look beautiful! Have a great day! 🍂🧡❤️🍁
Just came across your channel and absolutely love it ❤ Great tips 👍 will definitely be using them. Xx
Hi Lisa! Gosh, the azalea looks beautiful on you! Just perfect! Great video as usual! xoxo, Marisa
Omg yes! I can even use these tips ♥️
Hi Lisa great video! I also love the CT Hollywood Flawless Filter - I think I have had for a couple of years too lol. The Wayne Goss blush is really pretty. A really good highlighter for mature women is the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder I use Highlight 01 on many of my clients it is really pretty. Have a wonderful day xo Jackie

Thanks for the recommendation 💕💕💕
Love your videos! You always give so many options. My fav option for using as highlighter is Colourpop Super Shocker in Flexitarian. It goes on almost like a cream but is a soft powder that doesn't emphasize lines or texture.

Ooooh, that sounds really pretty! 💕💕💕
Great tips as always 🙌🏼 I can never get my contour look good but I have also got the Essence palette and I will have more practice with that since is inexpensive 😉
Thank you so much for your video, I am 56 years old, I always wear bronzer, after my setting powder, I don't see the need for highlighter or contour, or maybe I just don't know how, but you gave me options xx

It’s funny because I always liked contour but never saw need for bronzer…probably because my skin tone was always darker/warmer
Good morning! I needed this so bad lol
Lisa, I love your videos and tips. Just subscribed to your channel. Thank you.
Thanks for the informative video.
I always wear a contour underneath my bronzer. I pretty much go for a full beat every time I do my makeup. LOL. Oh by the way, I absolutely love the headbands. I've been using the for my makeup application and for when I take my makeup off, and do my skincare.❤❤
bare Minerals has some beautiful powder highlighters both loose mineral highlighters and pressed mineral highlighters
You have a gorgeous smile! Just found your channel. New subbie.

Thank you so much 💕💕💕 I literally just hit 10k a few months ago….I’m still in shock☺️
I have two different bronzers(Hourglass mini in Diffused Bronze Light and NARS in Vallarta)I like and a contour (Fenty Cream Contour and Contour Stick both in Amber)that works with my skin tone. Highlighter is another thing entirely. I’ve found the Hollywood Flawless Filter highlight in Fair 1. It’s really so easy because it’s my skin tone in sunlight poured into a bottle.

Great Video
You’re so beautiful. I appreaciate the content
Your beautiful so natural
Crazy question but could you use use the Laura Geller highlighter as cover for red spots/blemishes and around the nose under the foundation? I did that not realizing what it was until I watched this lol. It seemed to work well!
Try Laura Mercie highlighter. Very sutil and beautiful.
One question about eyeliners (I know nit the topic) no matter which eyeliner I use it always runs. Any tips on how to stop this from happening. Thank you.
You are so encouraging I just love you I have some large H pads on my face and I don’t know how to cover them before I put on make up seems like you can still see through them any ideas

I think it is hard to cover them unless your do a full coverage foundation which then looks pretty heavy for day to day wear. I get very frustrated with my dark spots and I even have white spots so my skin looks very uneven. But when I just use a medium coverage foundation my skin looks better but you can see in the video, you still can see my hyperpigmentation and I have learned not to focus on it! The concealers I do like I’ve talked about before, the elf cosmetics concealer. Pat McGrath concealer is also good. They work well underneath foundation to try and even out skin more. The key is to match your skin and not try to lighten the dark spots. Because then they look ashy. Some people even say to go darker to soften the edges and then your foundation brings your skin back to its natural shade. I haven’t really tried that though
I never use bronzer as my face is thin enough after over 8 yrs of dry & regular fasting. Medium size forehead so why again wld I use it? I was using the highlighter that Angie of Hot & Flashy uses but now I think she is on to different ones. And I just dust a little of that and only if I am going out. Thanks Lisa!! ~~Chanel
Beautiful women.
Sorry about that my phone just says what it wants I have some large dime size brown spots on my face sun damage

I am 55, I have a medium to medium dark skin tone with a neutral undertone. If it breaks down as far as neutral warm even better. And it is normal leaning dry, especially in the winter. Right now if the shade says Tawny or Caramel, it may be close, in the winter it’s usually some type of Sand if that’s in deeper tones (sometimes Sand can be too light), 😊😊😊
