I'm Irish Catholic as well. Once I was at the doctor's office. I had missed my period for 3 months at 38 years old. The doctor asked if I could be pregnant. I responded, "Well if I am, you'll read about it in the bible!". She didn't even smile. It's wonderful to have a sense of humor. Makes the world better!😅

I actually responded to a doctor once, “Do you believe in the Immaculate Conception? I m a hearing teacher with NO background in sign language, trying to teach deaf students public speaking in a newly learned basic sign language. When do I have time for SEX?” LOL

Kathleen is another one of those whose material i can listen to multiple times and still laugh heartily.

Her timing and delivery and stories are some of the funniest talents a person can possess. Plus, her accent, and talking about her Mom are out of this world. HIL-FREAKING-LARIOUS!!!!!!!!! Everyone should experience Kathy Madigan. Period!!!!!

With my mom it “here drink this tea, it will get rid of that cough”. I quit asking what it’s made out of. I just hope my name doesn’t pop up for a random drug test at work, lol. One time she tells me I look stressed and this will make me feel better. I drank it, it did make me feel better so I ask what it is she tells me it is a natural narcotic and you have to pick it at the right time or it’s poisonous!

The deficit is how much more your debt grows from month to month or year to year. When Clinton balanced the budget the public seemed to think that we no longer had a debt. NO NO we didn't pay off our credit card we just stopped making it bigger month after month. Since those days we have never paid down on debt and HAVE additionally made it bigger month after month and year after year.

My grandfather, whom I'd never met, died, when my father was a little kid, in his nap immediately after returnin' home, with my grandmother, and six other children of theirs, after Sunday service one (terribly, horrific) day (as I'm sure had to've been, though I had not been there. Possibly, in spirit lol)!

I had to read this like 10 times, bc I was so confused, as to when the new sentence starts, and when the other one ended, becuause theres no periods, and only commas, but that sounds tragic, good thing he went to church that morning, and his ghost was well dressed, bc my ghost would be in yoga pants, but being a comfortable ghost is, I think better than being in formal wear, I just won't scare anyone, they will be like oh some white ghost lady in yoga pants and a hoodie is haunting this house, but she's cool, make sure the cat is in the living room, put on netflix, and leave some whiteclaws and she won't bother you, yes ghosts can drink in the spirit world, just don't give her too many bc the she will float around the house and start waking everyone up, because she is needing attention, she can be kind of annoying, I wish her soul would figure it shit out so she can go to the next realm already, but she apparently has adhd and anxiety, so says she can't rest very well, really we need to bring in a ghost therapist, because we really want to help her but they are expensive and insurance doesn't pay for ghost therapy, and she isn't on my plan,
