The Ruike p801-sf is probably their best one for like $35 and comes with 14C28N. Laconico's designs are something I always fall for....simple but bangers. So many potential Kizers too...Feist, Original. Penguins would be great for this list too.

I think I paid like 22 bucks for my FH 11, about three or four years ago, and my jaw just dropped when I got that thing because it had the best action of any of the knives I had ever bought, and I had bought some knives that costed $100. There’s just something about spending just a tiny bit of money and getting something that you’re really stoked with. It’s almost better than getting an expensive knife that’s really nice, because you kind of feel like you spent so much money on it and then when you spend just a tiny little bit and you get so much for your money it just feels so much better

Definitely a great lineup, I'd toss the Ruike P801-SF in as it would certainly fit the bill as well. Very clean with an incredible bang for the buck. Absolutely love that knife and with how cheap it is you can beat on it without reservation.

Nice one my friend. I think the best knife on the list for me is the Elementum button lock. I have the damascus and forged carbon fiber version, and it's one of my top 5 favorite knives in my collection, and i have some bangers imho.

The Kaviso Laconico MINI KEEN S35VN would have have been perfect for this video..very clean look

A lot of great picks here. I agree with what you said about the Hogues. I EDCd a Mini RSK for years before I got the Deka in Magnacut, along with some Flytanium Ti scales for it. The new scales took it from low B tier to S tier, in my opinion. Great materials, design, construction, the whole shebang. Video game analogy: Benchmade is like Blizzard, fat from the riches from its legacy catalog, with its best days long behind it. Hogue is like Larian, big enough to produce an optimal product, lean enough to still have something to prove, and bringing their A game to do so.

The Civivi Bo reminds me of the sencut neches. My lady has the neches it’s really snappy and I can reverse flick it off the blade.

I'd highly recommend the p108-sf & p108-sb in terms of clean & slender looking knife.

This I a great video and matches my interests in EDC knives. I wish you would do a video on the best knives with sculpted scales. I hate flat sided knives. However from where I live shopping in person for knives is difficult so I have order online and can't really handle the knives to see if I like the feel and contour of the knifes scales. Hi Jared! Is that lockup % on Ruike D191 okay? I'm actually quite new to knives & I'm not familiar with too many other knives, but I've seen people prefer early lockup because of longevity. Have you ever had a steel liner/frame lock wear out all the way upto/beyond 100%?

Yes many times I have, usually you can tell if when you squeeze it, if the lock bar moves over a lot that usually means it's going to wear in faster

@CatsNBlades yeah you should be fine for a while, you want your lockbar to engage stronger as it breaks in overtime, otherwise you will need to do a lockbar adjustment to make it lock up stronger in the future which does happen and is not a big deal

@@NeevesKnives By stronger lockup, do you mean late lockup? My Ruike hussar p121 came with around 45% lockup & now after 5 days, it has moved to ~65%. Is it normal? And the locking arm seems to have quite a strong tension.

To this day, I’ve yet to buy another knife with a better action than my begleiter mini

I think I have something wrong with me. Yeah according to everyone else I must. I don’t like Civivi knives. None! I don’t get it at all but it’s some kind of curse I must live with. I am glad you’re putting Real Steel out there some. I think they make some interesting products but you never hear much. Peace!

That's interesting since so many of Civivi's knives are designed by people that make designs for all other major companies. Sokoke is a Laconico, the Bo is a Zinker. What are a couple knives that you do like the design of? Is it that they're not frame locks or something? I'm not baggin on ya, just curious.

What was that a sebenza 21? Isn't that discontinued? The crk knives are the best knives ever made at the price point hands down. And I'm not even a fan boy. You should show available sebenza though if you're going to say they're only photo worthy and not the best. Once you own a sebenza and actually use it you won't need another knife and that's a fact. As a collector though, there's other knives that are grail knives, but you won't use them like you would a sebenza. But hype up the cheapie Chinese knives since that's all Americans can afford these days anyways lol. 😅

Yeah but they have the 31, I didn't say they were only photo worthy I do love them I think they are some of the best, but I wouldn't say best of the best, I don't own a 31 so I have to work with what I have there's very little different about the 21 and 31
