Thank you for this video. If the calibration is set to achieve the same level in the three units, and cook /flame/ grill are off, would these units sound similar since only the mosfets circuit would be on? I like the finished sound of the stove, i am wondering if flame is switched off, would I have a more punchy in your face sound using only the temp control for EDM Hip Hop for example. This would make the stove very versatile in mastering.

Well, actually they will all three sound different in this situation as a result of the output topology differences along with the internal differences accommodating these output changes, impedance differences, and some other factors. So the Oven and the Grill both have an output transformer whereas the Stove is transformerless, leading to the Stove having a little cleaner tone on the output. However, as a result, the Stove also interacts with the gear following it a bit more too. The Oven and Grill both have output transformers but the Grill has a much larger range for the burners and as a result it's boxtone differs from the others a bit. Another factor is that the Cook/Flame/Grill circuit is in parallel with the burners which means the overall impedance differences between EF806/12ax7/and Mosfet all factor into a different tonal response overall. So ultimately, while each has a familiar boxtone, they all do have their own thing happening even with the controls neutral. As far as which one I would choose for EDM and Hip Hop? I would lean towards the Stove because of the pristine nature it naturally has...though the Grill's aggression and punch might often be the better choice, to be honest.

Thank you very much sir for the detailed answer. Listening to the examples provided in the video led me to the same conclusion concerning the Grill's potential. I was just worried for mastering context to get quickly out of hand due to the control ranges. Since I am going to have also a fairchild "clone" in the chain to handle delicate slow songs to master, it makes total sense to go for the Grill since EDM and Hip Hop are the dominant music styles in my area. @@HendyampsStudios

Thanks! Well that is tough to answer because it depends on how much range you want on the Burners. The Grill and Stove would be my initial choices, but if you need a more limited range on the Burners then the Stove would be better. If you are looking for a super hifi/sheen then the Stove is my choice. The Grill is more aggressive and can make everything sound massive, so if I want more punch and power then the Grill is my choice. The Oven is always a safe and great choice for everything though. I hope this helps!

Can the units be ordered with stepped knobs ? and in grey instead of white? :)

Unfortunately the spacing does not accommodate stepped switches and I am only able to use white for the faceplates in the Oven line. Sorry about that!
