Ay man seaweed + water you'll have full mana always with soothing tea, cheap drink cheap and easy to find ingredients.

You can drink soothing tea to recover 15 burnt mana and just have max mana, also other tea like bitter spicy(stamina) and mineral(health).

helped me out a bit

I'm still planning my build but it's something like this... 4 mana on ley line, and skill trees: Runic Magic with internalized lexicon, kazite edge (or smt like that, the very first trainer) for extra life/stamina/mana and the possibility of apply fire/cold to the weapon, and Warrior Monk for those extra 40 stamina, focus (+25% damage), better 2h blocking and idk what more because i've just been on Cierzo and Berg. I don't know about the optimal clothes/set combination for that build. But the idea is to play a 2H SpellSword warrior with some magic support and an ethereal sword. Capable of efectively tank some hits while blocking and with a good amount of damage stacked on it's ethereal 2H sword. That's about it.

@@cur5e782 Short update: Ethereal Sword just has magical damage, so Discipline doesn't give those extra 25% damage, because it is physical damage. But the build is still possible by 2 ways: One handed + Mend Light lexicon (extra -15% mana cost) or Two Handed (Extra damage and Impact). Warrior Monk gives the possibility of a very powerful counterattack and a block that automatically gives +25% damage (discipline boon) and 15 to all physical and elemental resistances. One handed or two handed still offers the possibility of support yourself with +15% physical protection +2 impact protection with runic magic, due to internalized lexicon ability, or if you go by the other ability and 1H + Light mender lexicon, you get extra impact protection with runic magic and extra healing over time (2 per second) if you consume that protection to heal yourself. I'm still guessing about some possible clothes or armor. I don't actually remember the name of the items i'm using, but i'm going 2H with Gold-lich Claymore and the build seems to be pretty solid. I recommend the following hotbar: Mana Ward (or anything you think it's better/useful) Counterstrike, Brace. The 4 runes. Then, Enrage for extra impact damage (= faster stuns against enemies)

And only for rune magic. As for helmet id rather use the one that can be bought in monsoon (one of 2 white ones) which gives you elemental dmg boost. Afaik the holy faction also gives you permanent buff of -15(or 20)% mana and stamina cost (heroic faction gives you +15% dmg - not sure though if its all dmg or only phys; blue faction gives you +40 to stamina or hp)

yeah i just found it, it gives +5% ethereal and lightning dmg each edit: maybe they changed it. i think light menders backpack used to reduce mana cost, but now it boosts lightning dmg

The only Magic build you need. Rune magic upgraded for effects and damage. Then you create a quick script in AHK that casts 1 rune after another. Then you bind every key on the keyboard to that script and roll your face across they keyboard and make squibbling noises as you clear every dungeon, every quest, every enemy. Thank me later, this build took a lot of effort to type out. Perhaps I should do a youtube video on it.

@@NJIStudios Rune traps are the only offensive attack you need. Creating builds is pointless. There are no hidden mechanics or mix-maxing to talk about. Rune-traps, 200 mana, and dodge reduction is everything you need. All other builds are just the same result with more steps.

Camzen I really don't think pressing 1 less button ruins the game.

I usually see both the master trader and the mage sets in Cierzo on the caravaner's stock, though the silver I make just brewing potions and after so many days I probably would see everything I need to start as a mage lol. I'm trying for a build I saw on a different channel, it's mostly monk mixed with some magic and melee is halberd. It's powerful, but also squishy so have to be light on your feet

An interesting little and easily overlooked thing I saw, is if you fill your waterskin with sea water and put it on a campfire it becomes clean water and 5 salt and now I have too much salt lol. Anyway, we can make lots of silver in Cierzo without leaving, if you don't mind sleeping for 3 days for stores to restock, by buying gravel beetles, blood mushrooms, star mushrooms, turmmips, and oil. Along with water they're the ingredients for hp, mana, and warm potions. It's quite the bang for your buck, there's a guide here on KZread if you search make silver without leaving Cierzo. I'm on PS4 and can't copy and paste sorry, otherwise I'd link the guy's video. It's been a huge help for me in my play throughs

I play a rune mage monk, pretty fun so far. I've got the lich armor and Master staff, so I just spam traps then beat them to death with the staff.

Hahaha yeah traps are crazy strong!

Sigils are powerful but they take time to cast. You have to stand in the circle to cast the combos. Fighting a boss that can knock you down with ease will rekt you while you cast the sigil or try to cast in the sigil.

I combine the fire and wind sigil,use mana push to make that purple ball to almost lo them and I use spark with both sigils together to cast the lightning and fireball which does tremendous damage,just killed to royal manticore in 6-8 sparks, wish I knew about the break through stuff first since I could've used the cold sigil aswell

@@socjocinus ts not dark souls pvp, it's a pve game so you can go naked if you want, I don't like to focus on meta builds since I think it takes the fun out of it

What's the point of high mana pool if u can get negative 100 mana cost through armor and what not?

Is there a good longer range mage spell thats longer range. Meaning you can sit back a ways. Most of the ones i see are closer up

You can hit people with the lightning spell but you have to have really good aim

My strategies are I fight them with a shield to know their attack pattern and then later in the game I just hack through them with a two-handed axe and a tank build items and a lot of potion and buff potions and spells .

How much health and stamina should I sacrifice at the ley line for this build?

Just get gold-lich set + Light Mender's Lexicon + 1Hr sleep in mage tent (not needed if you choose holy mission faction) and you'll get -100% mana cost.

If you get then one axe that gives 10% reduce mana cost and the light mender's backpack. you can get 100 percent as well. Well, 105 Percent. So with a sleep in mage tent you can have 120%

Which of the 3 paths would you suggest going down? I read up on Etal and I'm not too Happy about the Exaulted perk you get with them ... so are the other 2 okay Story-wise... or can you not pick up some essential skills if you don't pick Etal? Noticed we have 3 skill points... 1 goes into Rune Magic obviously ... but where would you recommend putting the other 2 points? Thanks!

What does reveal souls do? I have been lost on it. So cast it with spark and brings mana or max mana? Gonna try it today when i get home. Lol i thought it was useless

Use it on a dead humanoid or a pile of bones and it will reveal a blue ball. If you use spark then it will give you mana, not Max Mana. Or you can use conjure and spawn a minion!

Gold lich robes are better but kinda hard to get alone in spite of light in hallow marsh. And lightmenders backpack gives -15% so with full lightmenders (lexicon, backpack) and gold lich you get like -115% mana cost. Making spells cost nothing so you don't need to lower your hp

Do you find this set superior to all other sets in the game? I’m running this over the jade lich set except I’m using the weapon bc I don’t have skycrown or rune sword. Working on lexicon now I have pack and everything else.

Hey bro! So if your looking to enchant your weapon with thunder. Then go ahead a choose the holy war path because you get the spell infused light. Besides that the only paths don't seem to offer much else as of right now!

You should join the holy mission you get Mana and stamina passive for faction

Also if you use the magic sword don't you get unlimited elemental discharge using it? Not sure though.

Weapons that have elemental damage in the attack stat are not the same as infused weapons. The latter is what you need for elemental discharge. The only weapons that are always infused are the upgraded rune magic weapons. Everything else you'll need to find a way to infuse the weapon first even if it does elemental damage normally.

about waisting half the mana - just sleep for 1 hour and pour all the time in repair/watch-duty. You`ll have around 5%of your max-mana taken and still you will recover full stamina. Health maximum goes does pretty rarely, so in case it does - then you sleep and use 1 or 2 mana potions (they recover your max-mana)

400 is max mana right? You take the stamina +40 and health +40 breakthrough skills and then go back to the leyline. You will only get one more breakthrough skill, if you get mana well 400.

I'm not too sure if the items made me be able to do it faster, but if it is the items it would be the light menders lexicon or the last skill in the Rune mage tutor!

No you cannot change it. However you can learn Reveal Soul from the shaman

Yes so the reason is that you loose connection to reality when you sleep. So your Mana goes down because of it. The less you sleep the more Mana you have!

Why aren't you using the Gold lich set? Total of -70% mana cost just from the 3 items. If you add in the Lightbender's lexicon thats another -15% and if you add a jade 1h weapon thats another -10% for a whopping 95% mana reduction and if you add in lightbenders backpack thats another -10% for a total of -105%! Not sure what happens if you go that far though.

there's a mod that gives you an extra 8 slots when you press tab. but by doing that youre making the game easier. and you should like this game because it respects you enough by not making it wasier than it should.

Vendraval prison (1st map).. 1 iron scrap = 5 silver. throw all mining picks in the crafting table and get 2 iron scraps from each.. loot all weapons in Cierzo and turn it into iron scrap, as well as all other items you find from bandits unless you know that it goes for more than 5 silver.. salvage it if it gives more than 1 irons scrap... salvage all armor in order to get linen so you can make bandages.. npc in prison pays 5 silver for each.. 15 silver for health potion.. if you play your cards right, then you can easily make 200+ silver in 1 run.. (i've done it).. yes, this is great youtube content that will easily get many views.. so YOU'RE WELCOME WHOEVER READS THIS!! LIKE THIS COMMENT! And don't forget to credit Sino! My usual gametag.

@@cur5e782 yea. when you leave cierzo if you follow the path straight you end up in a bandit camp. once you get inside you follow the left wall till you get to a big chunk of rocks tha you can walk onto... roll on the rooftop of the building with the closed door that needs coils to open.. now theres some pipes on the rooftop that you can interact with. poof the door opens no coils needed.

Protip: use just 1 point on your mage for mana cause you can get 100% mana reduction items in game early if you plan ahead.

i've only played the game for 20 hours and I somehow disagree with some aspects of your "build".. i only invested 2 or was it 3 points into mana.. then i got full rune sage tree (without the "no-lexicon").. which gives me 40 extra mana.. (total of 100ish mana, can't remember)..then i stacked mana reduction gear + light mender lexicon = -65% mana cost.. never had a problems with lack of mana. I don't even have the leyline connection(mana regen).. I just cook food that includes any seafood (gives mana regen).. and reveal soul + spark (you can reveal soul of ANY dead humanoids in the world, it can be from a random corpse lying around. If sh't hits the fan, then i use astral potions which i usually craft too many of. The extra health and stamina is great since light armor doesn't really protect me that much (this is where i'm planning on using boons and mana ward when I get to learn it). But thanks for tip about the mage tent, i've only just gotten to levant,. additional 15% mana reduction! yay.. and the jade scimitar!

This is such a noob set up. Golden lich set, light menders lexicon, jade weapon, light menders backpack, = -100% mana cost meaning you don't even need to unlock mana to use mana so you can have tons of health and stamina. Then use runic magic, philosopher trainer but choose extra fire damage, then wind hermit choose wind sigil. On your hotkeys have all runic on one and the other have spark, fire sigil, wind sigil, mana ward. Whatever is not weak to fire use lightning and whatever is not weak to lightning use fire, the only think you can't kill with fire or lightning is the sharks so use the spectral mines. And side with the heroic kingdom for the extra 15% damage all together you'll have 60% more fire damage, if you decide you want even more fire damage there is a staff in the desert that boost your fire damage by 20 in the walled garden but your runic magic will be weaker.

@@spartan_sim20 Here build this mage its the most fire damage you can possibly do in outward. my pyromancer I have +130% more fire damage, I two shot the jade lich. My build is jade lich body, white priest mitre, any boots, compasswood staff, philosopher for the extra 15% damage, hermit for the extra more to boons so 30%, and side with heroic kingdom for the extra 15%. For my hot keys I have mana ward, spark, fire sigil, warm, then the other 4 are the runic. All together you have compasswood staff is +10%, white priest mitre is +20%, jade lich body +10%, philosopher +15%, warm boon +30%, heroic kingdom +15%, mana ward +30% = +130%. You could use an obsidian pistol and sunfall axe instead of the compasswood staff, you'd still have +120% more fire damage, melee fire damage and a high chance to set things on fire with range without needing to stay in the fire sigil.

poor build :S gold lich set+jade mace+light mender lexicon+lightbringer backpack with mage tent give u more then 100% mana reduct. u can have only 20 mana and willbe fine.

Well you fucked up already cuz you def don’t need that much mana. Coulda put it into HP and still have -70% mana cost.

This is a really bad guide for new players such as myself.

LOL that intro already made me laugh.... "So, u picked up outward, and it was a little harder then u thought"....... Actually no.. it was waaaay easier then i thought... i expected a dark souls experience (altho i never played that game but heard it was brutal) and instead i got a game that practically held my hand as to how easy it was... I really dun understand why ppl keep calling this a hard game..... First of, getting the 150s to pay of ur house... "oooh it's sooo hard to make money in this game"... uhm no.. i had 150s before i even left the town... no need to fight any enemy, just looted everything there and even had weapons to fight and managed to get 150s.... sooo, first hurdle out of the way without any problem..... then going outside, fighting enemies... again... not that hard either.... managed to get more silver, managed to get sum skills.. boom, it even got easier... Now i am fighting whatever monster without fear, killing it all easy peasy.... and i'm a casual player.. not sum -die hard try hard- dark souls player that needs to get every hit and every dodge perfect... This game is a lot easier then ppl make it seem... please stop giving out false information.... it's easy.... It's frikkin skyrim practically... That's how easy it is.... I feared it would be too hard because ppl kept calling it as brutal as dark souls... guess i should try dark souls after all... (FYI, i really don't like games that r too hard and too brutal on when u die and stuff, roguelikes also not my thing as i want to keep playing the same character and not new ones and loose progression) Even dieing in this game isn't hard... u just wake up sumwhere, either on a safe spot with ur bag, or captured and ur bag closeby and easily accessible... Even skyrim's deaths r worse because u have to load back a save because if u die there, it's game over and u loose progress if u didn't save recently.... this game u die? Well, get back up and continue from where u were almost, no loss of progress, no set back to an old save, everything u had, is still there or closeby.... no biggy... Maybe u have to walk back to where u were but hey, beats loading an old save and replay what u did before u died to get the stuff u had before dieing and not saving... i kinda like this system. Ohw... and i died maybe 3 or 4 times in a time spawn of less then 24 hours, so ya... even skyrim is sumtimes more "brutal"... TL;DR: This game isn't hard, i'm a casual player and even i can do it easily. Stop saying it's hard.... :P

Yeah I guess it just depends on the person, but endgame I agree is pretty easy!

That game is shitt in early beta stage, not a game that anybody would want to pay for. Typical triumph of form over content. I tried it from torrent and deleted after 5 hours of disapointing, boring playing. And so easy that you can get a backpack 110 early for free in the first bandit camp you visit, opening the storage door from the roof.

You basically just talked while standing still in the game... boring.
