If youre gonna sleep to buy the astral potion mats. You should also hit up all the stores for the thick oil. Thick oil +water = 3 warm potions = 12 silver. I think thick oil is 2 silver a piece .

Thick oil is 6 silver ea. And it only makes one potion. Not a money maker. 😔

They must have fixed money making in the game because all of these guides only makes one potion not 3.

To everyone new to this, The potions don't work anymore it only gives you 1 not 3 anymore and the ingredients for warm potions are now more expensive

I am brand new to the game and am struggling to make money. Is there a new method for making silver? I look online and there are probably 40+ guides that all point to this method exclusively. Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to do the money-drop method, that seems scummy. Thanks in advance for any advice!

@@hotsnow5042 By money drop I assume you mean the split screen one where you create a new character drop their 27 silver then just create a new split screen. It is pretty scummy and in all honesty not that effective. As far as I know, no one seems to know another way until later on into the game. There are ways to make like 600 in say like 20 minutes through making new characters and doing a specific route, selling everything then giving it to your main but it's still slow compared to what this used to be.

@@British-Anarchy thanks for the reply, Man! 2 buddies and I just got the game and are trying to figure out how to earn silver to mess around with different ideas within the game (ie: what weapons we like and will focus on, what items heal you and which should we cook and take with us, etc)... Bummer that they removed the potion method! That seemed cool

@@British-Anarchy No there is another way. Spam 1 and F on the lady that sends you the fungi shield quest. You glitch 30 silver reward very fast and easy and you can do it infinite times... 1k silver in 1-2 minutes is ez made that way

Update method : convert all weapons found to iron ingots, craft as many bandages as possible then head to vendavel fortress sell all iron to the lady in the prison at 5 silver a piece. You can buy iron for less than 3 and there are tons of pick axes to decraft. Also sell the bandages to the medic and if you have life potions give those to her as well for 15 silver instead of 5

You can cash in all that silver for gold and it will weigh less as well it will also sell back to the merchants for 100 silver the way you bought it weight measurement, my dude

... And here I am, about 120 hours in on my first character, sitting on a pile of more than 60 Gold Ingots (comes down to about 6000 silver) that I earned by hauling every possible valuable item I found to town and selling everything, all the time. And now I learn that there are much easier but less savory ways to earn a lot of silver in record time? FML, haha.

You earned what you have. Using these exploits is not impressive it's the opposite. I don't understand why people who exploit these harder games play them. They're supposed to be hard and a grind that's the fun is developing you guy and earning it yourself. What kind of Role play is sleep 3 days a million times? A piss poor one done by someone with no skill.

@@styxrakash4639 haven't played in a minute but I'm sure they haven't changed anything with the game. I think they literally only came out with one update with this game they dont support it much. Which is why I stopped playing. Things need to be fixed and they still haven't

There is no way to craft potion so much after 12/24 update... it's only 1 potion will be craft out...

I dunno if this important but you can also use the salt water to craft it. I haven't tried with rancid water or river water but I assume that water is water for crafting purposes, and if anyone knows otherwise please let me know. I used the water and oil formula in Levant since everything else was much pricier than normal there until you beat the quest and get prices lowered, after which I think buying and selling in Levant is probably the best place since after the quest is done the selling to the merchants remains high while buying is at normal prices.

Soooooooo this unfortunately was patched out, I just tried to craft those same potions and the yield is now 1 per craft instead of 3, and the return on investment is only 24 silver.

The easiest way to get money is the same as nearly all online games. Think borderlands dupe. Have a friend with a lot of silver join your game. They drop their silver and close app. This prevents their game from saving which leaves you with the silver they dropped and since the game doesn't save, they keep their silver. Rinse and repeat or even combine silver, save and then repeat to get more, faster. It kinda ruins a lot of the fun but for a quick start it works great..

I make a new character and collect everything from the tutorial & cierzo that can be sold i end up with 190 to 250 silver and i give it to my main character i can due 1 run every 8 to 10 min.

I have a question for experienced players of this game: At the start of this game an npc in cierzo told me that just about any disease will go away given enough time, but when I check the wiki it sais that diseases will not go away on their own , this npc lead me to the beleif that i can sleep off a disease but that doesn't seem to be the case. So my question is, if you can't sleep off a disease, then why was this noc in cierzo telling me i can? And also, where do I upgrade my stamina? I've found the trainer where you can buy various abilities and upgradea, but nothing there seems to help me with my stamina. I know thus game is supposed to be super realistic. But I dont buy my character being so out of shape that he's completely out of breath after fighting one and a half hyenas.

Alchemy aint worth it anymore, the splitscreen takes ages, another glitch you can use in Cierzo is this: there is that woman that sends you on a quest looking for a fungi shield. You can abuse her to get infinite money. Just spam 1 and F (on computer) on her and you''ll glitch a 30 silver reward for giving her an interesting item while not having such an item.. this way you can easily get a thousand gold within 1-2 minutes.

So basically, I didn't have to get my ass kicked over and over again just to haul loot back. I could of done this the whole time? Now I can just buy some sick ass armor and not have to worry about a thing.

It's patch u only get one potion u lose money

you can split screen and continue to get captured by Vendeval fortress like go in and talk to them. and then you can sell all your iron/ break down their pickaxes for iron and you can do this quite a bit before you destroy the gang that holds the fortress. Also make sure to give your extra silver to the second player just as a precaution from them taking the rest of the silver your character makes. (You can acquire your bags and gear from the black chests on the right after requesting to aid the kitchen/medic. especially if your hard grinding cash before starting your faction quests you can just stash iron and make like a solid 1000-2000 from just selling iron you stockpile from your adventures. :)

You're super late to the party on this method, my friend. Also its incomplete as you should also be buying Thick Oil, combine with water for Warm Potions. Sell those and Astral Potions and you should get around 300 Silver each time. I'm just disappointed cause you said you were gonna share a mid-game method and didn't. But oh well.

There are literally two ways of getting money in the game. You either make stuff and sell it, or you find stuff and sell it. What he's doing isn't really an exploit. It's a game mechanic. It just turns out to be mind numbing and silly for role playing purposes.
