seems like a number of financial youtubers are caught bagholding Tesla.. after being hyped by Chicken Genius who has since sold at a high quite a long time ago.. Daren, Kelvin, Ziet who have more than 70% allocation to Tesla.. just to name a few..

its good to increase the investment knowledge especially after moomoo tiger broke into the singapore market, it widely improved the investor mind set. can see it happen in malaysia

If the goal is to be known, then we need to be known for something. RoaringKitty is known for gamestop, Chicken Genius for Tesla, Chi Keng for Baba, Boon Tee for Nvidia, Michael Saylor for Bitcoin. So much Tesla bulls out there, it's hard to standout.

in every space or medium , there are scammers. Be it bonds or gold The same applies to crypto. Tradfi with current findtech can only progress the financial tech so far. We are at the junction where contracts are coded, money is redefined. Just like how the nay sayers were against the first bank notes vs silver bars.

shouldn't be lah.. cuz that would be even more silly an argument mah. considering where the direction is going - the US SEC has approved a BTC ETF, and even the CCP has given the okay for HK to dip its toes in crypto, licenses granted, banks told to support crypto businesses... not to mention other jurisdictions that are crypto friendly like Switzerland, Singapore, the EU coming up with MiCA (rather than an outright ban) @@BoonTee so if he were really referring to governments globally, that would suggest that he's actually quite ignorant of what's going on on the global stage... (which would be a bit sia suay because he sees himself as a global investor rather than stuck with a 'local msian mindset'). so I think give him a bit more credit.

@@alui5362 I don't know, sometimes all these mood on acceptance of crypto also swing back and forth between acceptance and cracking down. I don't think it is a given that US will continue to embrace crypto. For example, when investors lose money, regulator will be pressured to cracking down on the trading activities. It may not be an outright ban, but just tune up the restrictions alone will discourage trading activities and affect demand on crypto assets

don't buy crypto, end up bagholding tsla. Missed the run then say missed the run, no need come up with money laundering this kind of bs. Crypto will stay as long fed keeps printing, this is a fact you have to accept.

Ziet clearly did not do any research on btc or cryptocurrency. His analysis are invalid. His portfolio feels like he is the late guy to the party and choose to hodl. A very typical retail investor mindset 😅 I think he is good at business and will do well based on the ideas he shares, lots of people will watch him even if he may be right or wrong

Bruh I lost braincells listening to him explain Crypto. Totally get the point about not investing from a risk asset PoV but explain the negatives properly else just be humble and claim ignorance. It's a proven fact that money laundering is way lesser on crypto than fiat currencies. On the point abt crypto ban, it's only happened in few countries like China, every other country preaches a free market dynamic. It's like saying "wHaT iF tHeY bAn gOlD?". Yes gold is used as a reserve by countries but ultimately it boils down to what the mass populace agrees has value :)
