Outdoor Warning Sirens
There is a change in the outdoor sirens in Meridian Township. At 1:00 pm every first Saturday of the month the sirens will be tested. If you hear the sirens at any other time that means severe weather is coming and you will need to take cover!

The sirens will run for 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds. Also, tests are cancelled for bad weather

They test the sirens without actually setting off the sounds. This is more for electronic sirens. However, with the ones Ingham county has this will involve them rotating them without sounding them or just sending a signal to the radios onboard the sirens and waiting for a response

They probably just send the rotate tones, which just rotate the sirens

@@IceBotYT no. i did some research and its a probe test to test if they get a response from the controller
