Outdoor Kitchen: Extending an existing concrete slab

I decided I needed additional counter space. I should have just poured this slab when I did the original but thought I could get away with not needing the space. Also, the free-standing backsplash wall showed some minor movement after winter. So, I decided to extend the kitchen slab and structurally tie it to the existing concrete. This gives me additional storage and also provides the free-standing wall additional support.

Is it possible to lay kitchen island on top of pavers?

Yes, it is possible to install an island on top of pavers. Construction would be similar. The island may be prone to movement depending on the paver base. However, you can certainly secure an island to the pavers and should be plenty secure.
