I feel he was wasted opportunity.. everything about him is great.. and he's funny kind and compassionate hero.. but I feel he just wasn't give the true justice he deserved.. he just needs a lot of microing to make work which shouldn't be that hard to use gattler gun.. it becomes more evident during higher difficulties.. where you start to see his limits..

0:34 i like the call back they did to the table top. That was the image that was on the dwarf canon box for its tabletop model. Never had it myself but often looked at it in the store as a kid. Got the bolt thrower though ^^

That 'Now I'm ready, hahahahaha.' brought a smile to my face.

Crouching makes the pistol really accurate for long distance sniping. Not like handgun accurate but you know, better than its standard aim.

Only thing I don't like about Engineer is his delayed shot, it makes quick shots really tough for me, especially on assassins, hookrats and leeches. Most of times can't shoot anything before others already did. :( Also his Cog Hammer seems stronger than Bretonnian Longsword which is sad for GK, because he should be much stronger in melee combat.

I NEED some modders in Total War Warhammer 2 to make a unit of Dwarfen gatling gunners, kinda like the ratling guns. NEED.

Good news, there is one in the workshop now.

The best part of this for me is how the steam gun's reload mechanic works. If it had charged by killing enemies or over time it would have felt like just another "magic" ultimate power, but having to manually reload it makes it feel like a proper 3rd weapon! I love the crazy steampunk weapons of Warhammer Fantasy, and the Dwarfs are one of my favorite races, so this expansion is basically perfect from my perspective!

I do this with every new Vermintide release lol. Its a nice way to quickly show off the class and just focus on the gameplay. Sometimes nicer and more immersive without the voiceover. Plus I had JUST finished a huge commentary from my last vid, and I've got a bunch more videos and livestreams coming up really soon. Let me liiiiive lol

@@greengiant3008 Yes, it fires a lot slower, gets good armour piercing and better dmg. Pair it with lvl 10 talent for piercing extra target and you can clear patrols and anything easily. Also, with that talent, your 8 barrels Gatling gun changes into 3 barrels one which is a nice touch.

Never interrupt a dwarf when they're a tinkerin. They tend to grumble a bunch afterward

All i hope is that once they're done with all the DLC classes, (or heck, right now) is to also have the cool little camera-influenced inspect added with the default weapons.

Ah memories I remember krubers repeater rifle in v1 being a gatling gun with the right perks

I do love your smooth voice, but hearing all the detail and sounds was great too. Nice vid and keep up the badass content!

I got the blue glow runes illusion for the cog hammer, looks fresh as Okri. You need to get the killing blow on Burlesque Hailstorm with the hammer or it doesnt count wich was a bit of a bummer. I also unlocked the Barak Varr outfit and its bugged in 1st person, the mech glove is gone and there is a gap where Bardins wrist should be. All in all a pretty fun career to play, the dual effect on bombs effectively gives you 6 bombs and I have just been mowing down chaos patrols left and right. Skaven infantry on the pistol and chaos infantry on the charm has worked well for me so far in regards to properties, with barrage traits. The "high noon" fire mode deletes monsters. You wanna be a horde butchering monster? Drakefire flame thrower. Swap between thrower and machine gun. So much destruction, and add 3 bombs to that its just insane. With all this said: Ranger Veteran with the pistol is absolutely bonkers and the cog hammer is wicked on Slayer. These two weapons just buffed all of Bardins careers by a whole lot.

Coghammer: approved by the Adeptus Mechanicus New Ranged Weapon: Essentially a Mauser, Wundarbar! Gatling Gun Ult: Heavy says, DA, I like this new weapon! With Outcast Engi, I know Ranger Vet will get played even less. But, I don't care I still love the Ranger Vet and love/will play all of Bardin's classes equally.

Number of barrels on the dakka-dawi-gun changes to three when using gromril-plated shot talent. :)

I love how much fun they are having with these dlc's I mean I was expecting a rune Smith something cool but generic they blew this out the water and gave us something new and unique. This gun play with the engineer also makes me really excited for dark tide.

I'm having so much fun with this right now.

Oh, one thing I've found is, using leading shots with a grudge raker, you can build leading shots stacks with the bash attack... also you can have the leading shots proc ready and have another 3 stacks lined up this way, so you crit two times in a row.

So this is a teaser for the autocannon the Ogryn Chad will get in Darktide right?

You're thinking of an assault cannon, autocannons fire with a steady, but not especially fast, rate of fire. Sadly I don't think any infantry outside of things like Terminators can handle an assault cannon, because it's usually vehicle mounted. Luckily, Ogryns get their own, tailor-made heavy duty auto shotgun, called a Ripper Gun, which is often modified for use in close combat (thing giant saw blades/bayonets/etc). Oh, and a Ripper Gun is an auto-shotgun, built to scale for Ogryns, so just imagine a shotgun the size of a normal human torso :P

Been havin a play around on some solos with this new class I’m thinking scavenged shot, experimental steam capacitors and innovative ammo hoppers are gonna be a good combo. Run around smack and shoot shit with hammer and gun while the crank gun is charging. (Without capacitors shots from second weapon will cancel the charging). But you have 10% more melee power and after 5 melee kills a shot will cost no ammo. So ideally you just melee 5 things and then shoot a special with your free shot to activate the ammo hoppers and go ham with a mini gun that has 30 secs more use, is charging as you shoot it and the 4 secs free shooting costing no ult charge. Now if the stars line up you could chain this together. Melee 5 things, kill special, mini gun rampage. It’s pretty hard to pull it off in a game and get it perfect but even doing a shit job at it gets a lot more use of the mini gun. My 5,15,25 talents are temp hp on dmg (coz I don’t like the stagger one) enhanced power (coz I’m a simple man and it’s an easy talent) and bombardier because it goes with his class passive of having more bombs. Edit: I’m also thinking he is gonna be a staple to the team now he isn’t amazing at anything but he is good at everything. A perfect team in my mind would be. Engi, Waystalker, Grail knight and Witchhunter. Engi for the utility and that 10% power to allies range Waystalker for specials, elites and the team heal. Grail knight for monsters and the quests mainly hp regen to stack with WS and then Witch Hunter to tag stuff for more dmg and general horde clearing but mainly the tag passive and the 25% Crit for allies on ult.

@@ArrancarX5 hmm could do but with the build I suggest your mainly running around hitting things getting that free shot on 5th melee kill ammo wasn’t a problem for me the main problem was remembering to crank the steam gun to 5 stacks when charge was low which wasn’t that much that’s why I forgot to do it.

I find ranger pointless if you have a good team, slayer is just a meme IB was his only good class in my eyes it brought something nothing else did a taunt which is nice but again not needed which is why I swap him out for sienna unchained she can tank and burn stuff like IB. Now with this new class the extra bombs is nice the 10% power for allies range is nice and well new classes seem to be pretty op so why not use it.

@@ArrancarX5 had to get on the game to be sure new character and everything. But yeah another reason I chose capacitors over gasket is that you just wait till the pressure timer gets 1 quarter or halfway down and on 5 stack it won’t make you over heat it will just reset the timer on the 5th stack.

I LOVE the look of the engineers stuff, the cartridges and stuff look almost like they came out of a modern machine shop, but not quite.

You know it's strong when the hammer clean cut heads off.

Indy remember that the stagger heal talent was changed(more like how stagger works with different weapons) and the cleave heal talent is the way too go for anything that is not a shield currently(this is more noticeable on Cata but Cleave heal should be at least better for non shield units on Legend)

Have you thought about doing a predictions video on the final 3 careers, I'd like to hear your opinion. I think it's very likely we'll get saltspyer as a warrior priest and kerillian as a war dancer but I have absolutely no clue what we'll get for sienna

Wish there wasn't a delay on the pistol shot. The accuracy is already a tiny bit unreliable if you aren't crouched and the drop-off is immense and quick. Still, fun class.

just played my first few games with OE it's everything i fucking wanted him as an Engineer to be ...well i mean actually i wanted him to get one of those Turrets from the Engineer Dawi in Warhammer Online BUT STILL OH MY GOD ITS AMAZING

I just got this class yesterday, and after doing a run through of the war camp, first thing I thought was; I wonder when they are gonna nerf this. Seriously. You delete elites and specials in one shot. Hordes are mowed down instantly, and the recharge on your ult is very fast, and it can be used at any time. The cog hammer is fantastic. Destroys shields easily, and armoured can’t stand against it. Basic atrack with the hammer is great for hordes. Aside from 100 hp and being a bit squishy, there’s really no downsides to this career.

Yo Indy, can you explain something about your build? I was thinking about going for the 50% increased F meter too but ultimately chose the middle option. It's super strong to whip out and start blasting full speed, then quickly switching back to melee. Rinse and repeat. Helps with gutter runners too. As you saw right at the beginning, quick fire on your pistol is too unreliable to hit a sneaker. Also I went THP on multiple hits instead of stagger, seems to generate more. What are your thoughts? Wanna know if I missed something.

I dont have any explanations for my build at the moment lol, I quickly skimmed through and took what looked good. Will be doing a deeper dive into it when I get a more playtime. I'm not sure what the meta will be yet

I wonder how this setup would play with a grudgeraker or even the flamethrower. Maybe take the slower fire but more armor pen talent for the crank gun?

The AP talent is trash not worth it at all. You will be better off useing melee for your armour pen. It takes almost 3/4 of your charge to kill a chaos warrior with the armour pen. I have been playing around with him and think a good combo is the new hammer , the Rifle for range special killing and the talents for the gattling to be the rapid fire talent so that you can shoot your shots off quickly and crank the gun then go back on6to melee to deal with the armour left from your hail of bullets. Without the rapid fire half the time you get hit in the back before you have fired all your shots. The rapid fire let's you keep up with the fast gameplay of vermintide

@@liamdk9625 I agree AP is bad but I think the rapid fire is pointless if you don't go AP rounds, you already fire fast enough so that the spinup hardly matters. I find that the pistol has enough range to be a solid pick aswell. Fanning the hammer is also really good against monsters since you basically can't miss.

@@Khalkara I prefer the rapid fire for taking out bigger units quicker as dps is faster when it comes to hordes it's not needed. The pistol is really good and does the job only thing I find is with blightstorms at far distance it's hard to get that headshot meaning you need two shot giving fatty time to relocate because of the shot build up which wont happen with the rifle. And with the crank gun I'm not useing my range as much as usual. The new hammer in the other hand is a god sent nothing bad about it you can cc and armour pen.

I honestly dont know anything about whats optimal with this class yet. I've only played a handful of games so far. I can already tell he's viable and has some nice combos, but in terms of actual talents and such, I wont know whats "Best" until I get more playtime. I do tend to like Swift Slaying on my melee weapons, so Resourceful Combatant might not be worth it for me personally

It always sucks when your teammates walk through you even though you're obviously shooting

I say the DLC is priced fairly if we get some more free maps. I’m fine paying higher price for the cosmetics and nothing for the maps

it's also dishonest business practice, seeing as they never actually fix the bugs in their game, or try to fix the design flaws with 80% of the weapons. :P Paid DLC only makes sense, if the devs are actually doing a good job fixing their games' bugs and design flaws... otherwise it's just scummy cash-grabs.

@@MyouKyuubi have you ever been on the forums, they constantly fix bugs, sure there are old ones, most games have them, and no, WoM wasn't a cash grab, it wasn't mandatory at all for the enjoyment of the game, plus only like 50% of the playerbase has WoM, plus you dont have to have the dlc to play the maps or weaves if your friend has it. so you can't really call it a cash grab, if they are adding valuable content and putting a reasonable price tag on it it isn't a cash grab.

@@widerobin6479 It doesn't matter what happens on the forum, the game is STILL broken, the game STILL crashes, the game STILL has serious design flaws (Like how 80% of the weapons are fucking useles), and they DON'T GET FIXED. You can cry about patch notes all you want, and yet these problems, HAVE NOT DISAPPEARED. Winds of magic is a cash grab, it introduces a new system, that is functionally identical, to the OLD system, and it recycles old maps, with like 3-4 special effects added. Except, as a trade of, you don't get to use your favourite weapon models... You're stuck with the weave models, which btw, you also can't unlock for the original mode. So essentially WoM was nothing-content. It's a cash grab, dude.

Can't seem to play the game with a friend. We always disconnect. Our internet s fine, 17-20 ms on discord. Is there a fix

I see you are running the game with high FPS and in 1440p. What is your set up? Graphics card?

Do these weapons have ANY downsides? its like the 2h hammer but they took out all of its weaknesses. That Tier 4 talent, does that give you a 25% damage reduction at 5 stacks? It seems hilariously good at higher difficulties where you are going minutes between hits.

The cog hammer is a damage dealer, while the 2h hammer is a crowd control weapon.
