I’m getting ready to turn 40 this year. Skateboarding used to be rebellious af. No skateparks anywhere. I remember getting kicked out of stores just for having a skateboard in my hands because it was considered a weapon in the nineties in Florida. Haha. I remember the first day I wore a chain wallet to school with my studded belt, kids bullied me and tried beating me up just for wearing those two things. Much different time. You used to have to commit your whole lifestyle because there was no other option. It was everything. Even if it meant losing all support from family and peers . As long as you had like five/six friends that skated too, y’all were invincible. We skated the same courthouse stairs and the same bank curbs every single day for years. No cell phones, no internet. After school, first thing in the morning on the weekends, you went to where the homies were and you posted up all dang day. We’d have to feed five dudes with five bucks sometimes.

Nice to know I'm not the only guy skating in my 30's with the dad bod.

one of the best street skaters of all time. So psyched to hear hes dropping another part. It seems like he puts out multiple per year that are full of hype and raw skating and gets next to no props. I dont get it. Hes so good.

he's so great to watch skate, he could film a legit part fully switch and I would be hyped on it; he deserves Nike, dude is a legend and he's not even done

I love the way he thinks that it's a long-shot that he would get on Nike, yet when Nike started it was all rippers who are similar to him - Stefan Janoski, Lewis Marnell, Gino Iannucci, Weiger etc... all guys who skate super fast, can skate switch well and do scary tricks over obstacles at top speed.

One of the all time best. Super dope skater. If he doesn’t get SOTY soon that’s straight bullshit. The man kills himself to skate better, have fun just enjoy skating in the 30s. I’m 34 with 3 kids still shredding and guys like this makes me want to skate more and more each day.

I went to Pulaski 2 months ago and o.k. I can't Ollie, I can just ride around a bit, got cruiser wheels. So what. Bobby Worrest was there and told me to get the fuck out, so I slapped him. Actually knocked him out with my open hand. He was out for like 2 minutes, scary. After he came to he was fine though. So it's a bit crazy to hear him say what he did at 3:52 because he was real friendly, even bought me a pizza and beer.

So many interesting, creative people in the skateboard realm. Now that everyone is sponsored by God, what shall we do here?

That's a flag from the Krooked South Korea tour they did a few years ago, Mike Anderson has it too i don't think it was ever for sale that flag
