How do you calculate the number of balloons for a project? Also, what brand of sticky tabs are you using? Are they repositionable? Love your videos!

The sticky tabs are not repositionable really. I'm using Uglu dashes by Oasis. You can find them in floral supply stores. Calculating the number of balloons for a project is tricky. At this point I just know a lot of them because I've done them so often. You can find online calculators that will help you figure it out based on the size of the garland and the size of the balloon. I generally overestimate because I'd rather have extra material than find myself coming up short. :~)

Hi Sandi! Love your creations! Btw, can you assist me on this, how many balloons should i buy to make this kind of frame? 6 to 7 feet.. balloons are coming from ground all the way up. And what can you suggest the sizes of balloons.. Thank you! 😊

The number of balloons depends on the size of the balloon. Are you using 11" balloons or 5" balloons? I think that Chris Adamo might have a balloon calculator on his site that helps you figure out how many balloons you need by length of the garland and size of balloon :~)

Logistic question, at which point do you get back to the party to take it all down? Next day or by the end of the party? Same thing with balloon arches

It depends on the venue. If it's in a hotel I go when the party ends. If it's at someone's house, I go next day. :~)

Hey sandi i have a question... can you tell me what you said when you were explaining the pvc and elbow piece? So i can tell the people at the hardware store exactly what you said.

It's a "T" connector for the bottom bar and and "elbow" connector for the top bar. You want it to be the same size as your pvc, so prob 1/2" :~)

Can you please tell me what kind of floor lamp is that? And where do you buy it? The one i found are from Ikea and they are shorter

That one is the NOT lamp from IKEA. The way it comes is shorter, but I buy lots and then combine the poles for various things. I think there are only 4 poles in the box and most designs take from 5-8 poles, so I generally buy double what I think I need :~)

they do oxidize, but I guess that some colors/ brands will show it more than others. :~)

How many balloons did you use for this exercise? You said inflated at 7 or 7.5. Also do if I start 2 days in advance of birthday should I use laytex or mylar balloons? Awesome videos. First timer here

air-filled balloons will be fine if inflated a few days in advance. I'm not sure how many balloons, probably around 200 or so. :-)

Thanks! When I'm practising new designs, often I will take it to a school for them to enjoy (and me to pass out cards). That way I get the picture, and I get it in front of people who could be in a position to hire me. ;~)
