Just a tip on weights for the NOT-stands - use the plastic parasol feet (that you fill with water) with the hole in the middle and slide it on the stands and there you go! I don't own a car so I have everything in a suitcase and use public transportation to get to my events- the parasol feet is a life saver;)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean about curtains. If you have a balloon frame, you would attach the number the same way I did here, with sticky tabs. If you don't have balloons to attach to, you could use a hook, or maybe just duck tape. Depends on what you're attaching too... :~)

Hi Sandi...I know you mentioned using sturdier stands for outdoors. Have you ever had any problem with the sticky take not holding the balloon attachments outdoors?

Once it's stuck you're good, but it doesn't work well when it's cold. That's why I keep them in my pocket to warm them up to body temp before using them :~)

Wonderful!!! May I ask after you pop the balloons, what do you do to recycle them. I’ve been trying to find somewhere and no luck. Just in the garbage is my only option

The latex balloons do break down and bio degrade, so if you have a garden you could use them as compost or mulch. But generally we do just pop them and throw it away, because of time and we do a lot of balloons ;~)

I wanted to know the same thing is that balloon bond? I have used glue dots but those seem to curl up during placement/stick to my fingers or maybe I not using a good quality dot. Recommendations please - Thanks

I use Uglu dashes by Oasis. They are made for the floral industry and are submersible. They do need to be warm when you use them through, so if you're in a cold place, put some in your pocket to get them to body temp before using :~)

What do you do with the structures after you leave them at a party? For example, the lamp posts that you use, do you go back to the party or event and retrieve your bases? Or do you include that in the cost. I find it a hinderance to go back to the event every time to retrieve my items. Thanks for your assistance.

I go back for the hardware. I hire a strike crew to do it for me though as I don't like to go out at midnight. For a college student that's nothing though ;~)

All of my books have designs that range from simple to intermediate, so there's something for everyone. I can't decide if the Balloon Bible for All Seasons, the Birthday Bible, or the new one, Themes & Dreams would be the best one to start with. I really love them all ;~)

never. I find it to be too messy and time consuming without adding that much to the end result. As long as the balloons oxidize equally it will look good, even if it's not shiny :~)

How many inches are the balloons you used ? And approximately how many balloons are required.

The balloons are 11" balloons inflated to about 6" I think. I'm not sure how many I used, but the written instructions are in my book THE DIY BALLOON BIBLE THEMES AND DREAMS available on Amazon :~)
