About 10:45 in y’all passed an exit sign for “Griffin/Jackson” I thought that was really funny since it’s both of your boys names! I’m so sorry that this happened, we have had our fair share of travel mishaps over the years but I’m glad everyone is safe and hopefully at some point you’ll be able to look back and laugh!

@@Thefamilyfudge I can’t even imagine the irony! You guys went through that RV renovation I am sure partly to save money in the long run. But this trip was just over the top expensive! Love your family! Hope RV problems are totally in the past now!

Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear the RV broke down. Hope it doesn't cost an arm and leg to fix. Our air condition broke last week and found out this week we have to replace the whole thing.

@@Thefamilyfudge sounds like we've both had a few weeks of bad luck. It was first our lawn mower broke then we got a flat tire, and now our air conditioner. We live on an extremely tight budget.

So sorry your trip was sidetracked. But thank goodness everyone is safe.

Our rv broke down to south Carolina 2 kids in the back ot our camper had a different idea . We lost 24 hours trying to get the rv fixed on Sunday. We got to south Carolina about 24hour later .

I wish you luck in your journey with that once my mom and I were head to Florida and ran over a big mud flap thing in the middle of the highway and if not for family would not have had a car while ours was in the shop.

What matters is you get through it all safe! Worst road trip was with a friend, the car broke down in the middle of a rural desert about four miles from the nearest town and we had to walk to the nearest gas station in blistering heat. So not fun! At least you were somewhere you could contact a tow!

Oh my...you was right down Street from me...there is a camping world right down from my street...and another in Griffin, stone mountain...etc...that's sad you couldn't get it fixed here and went on to Dollywood...but at least u got home...you're kids at least they got to shop at Bucky's....hopefully soon you can go back to Dollywood...

And that was just the tow....with the uber rides, rental van and unplanned hotel nights the total was higher

So sorry to hear that. Going from Washington to California my dads transmission gave out leaving us stranded in oregon for 2 days. A few years after that going to Alberta from Seattle my grandparents, cousin and I got stuck in browning Montana for 10 days at a campground when the engine went out. Thankfully this time we were in a trailer so we just camped while the truck was being fixed. Are you getting the RV fixed?

Omg. Di you have aaa plus? We got stuck 69 miles from home and they towes us the whole way... later to find out we had a spare haha. Gosh AAA saved me and my 2 yr old on the highway that day

Yes we do have AAA Plus and we also have specific RV roadside coverage through GEICO but both of them were unable to find a tow company that could provide the service.

So sorry the trip didn't go as plan glad all you are safe maybe it was a blessing the lord may have protected all of you from something happening to all you

Decades ago during a trip out west from Ohio our car broke down. I was sick and a kind lady picked us up and took us to town.We stayed in a motel next to the station. I remember a vending machine with buttermints and an ice cream shop nearby. I think it cost 600 total so we didn't finish the trip. Ah, memories.

I used to love about 45mins from Warner Robins. Didn't know they had a Buc-ee's now!

The first Walmart they stopped at is so close to my town and I have been there before 🤣 I recognize the high way and buildings

Happened to my sister and her family several years ago. They drove to California to visit family and on the way home their van broke down. Luckily they were able to get home eventually

Oh man...that stinks about the RV and Dollywood. But thankfully having insurance and cell phones with Uber, things worked out. 😅❤️❤️

Do you have AAA? If not you may want to think about getting it. The level of membership we have they will tow you for free up to 250 miles. I don't know how many miles you where from your home.
