Our Worst Nightmare- Harvest isn't far off, we're only a couple weeks away from Harvest preparations. In the meantime I'm working on making some trails for the kids in the woods for their ATV'S. Isla and I hauled some corn to the ethanol plant. The corn is dry and we're drying up. The good news is we don't need to spray for aphids because the crops are almost non existent. Harvest should be quick and easy unless our worst nightmare happens and it starts raining.

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

As someone that worked in what I think is still North America's biggest water bottle plants I can tell you that water from a bottle is the biggest scam in consumer supplies. The water in the bottle is not tested as well as the water from a city water supply . Unless you have some problems with the tap water your home then you are wasting money . I knew the son of the owner of the plant I worked at and he refused to be a part of it as he knew it was a huge rip off . He ended up working for Honda in a car plant
We appreciate u taking time to share u're time. Rock on Zac

I loved the straight face after you talked about "putting diesel in the skid steer"......
I remember back in the day when all the farmers around would let us ride our ATV's on the outside of the crops. Or make trails in their woods. Then some city folk moved in and drove trough the crops and wreaked their 4 wheeler all in the same day. And ruined it for everyone. (I'm assuming because the parents tried suing the farmer.) I'm sure it had nothing to do with the lack of parenting.

We ride ATVs as well and my former class mate and life long friend is largest land owner and farmer around here. So we were riding with our group and reached random maize field. Respectful bunch we are so we went around like always. Then I see the very same farmer I was talking about just going diagonally straight through the field 😆😆 he said he wanted to check if it was ready 😂
@chesterraybon3442

Exactly correct!!, for years we rode miles and miles around farm fields with no problem. Most of our parents owned the farms but we knew better anyway. Then here come a few city kids moving out this way and we had to put up signs and gates in less than a month.

When we were kids we used to ride a huge unkept property that backed up to my house and about a mile a way my friend’s grandparent’s house where he kept his 4 wheeler and dirt bikes. We had tons of trails! Probably close to 10 miles worth. Hours of fun
@hillbillynurse7212

We posted all our property for a lot the same reason (except nobody tried suing us for wrecks). People would just ride theough standing hay, do donuts in the field, and all kinds of nonsense. We used to let people just ride, and did plenty of it ourselves, but no more unfortunately.
Really enjoyed the racing videos. The in car of little man is impressive.
Glad to see your back! Missed the videos! Praying for all the farmers dealing with this weather.
My dad mad a hell of a path with an 80cc ATV and some junk go-karts
The coolest thing ever is the trees that you planted...a wonderful gift for your children.

I road my banana seat bicycle on the deer 🦌 trails through our woods to most of my friends houses. I wasn’t aloud to ride on the road until I was 16. I miss the farm ‼️
Making memories with the kiddos is always important in my books!!
I love to see father and daughter time together. So special
We just got another 2 inches for the first time since may
Ila is getting so tall and still so cute Thanks for letting me visit with you and your family
Thank you Zach.
Mom was an advocate for doing both knees at once, for easier recovery time. Both therapies in one. 😉
Great job Zach.... love seeing your family... hope the crop situation improves.
Your kids are precious! Love to all from Texas!
Thank you great video with you and the kids thank you for sharing your family and your day with us really enjoyed it keep them coming
You're a great father Zach, thumbs up.
North of your state in Manitoba we are about to get a monsoon with 40-50 cm of rain forecasted for tomorrow, so hold onto your umbrella.
For only 1.6” of rain, it looks better than I would have ever imagined!
Glad you got a nice rain. Here in Northeast Nebraska, we are in relatively good shape but could still add some yield with a rain this week. With these prices, it looks like a good year. Thanks for you videos and keep up your efforts in informing others about the modern farmer.
Keep up the good work and good recovery for your father
Thanks for sharing all you do
I had two uncles that owned a dairy farm when I was a kid. they kept two old garden tractors that they took the decks off for my brothers and I to drive around when we visited. We would pretend to farm with them. My parents would drop us there and we would hang out with them. Some of my very best childhood memories. The farm dogs and cats, going out manure spreading with them on the tractor. Just the best of times.
Good thing those kids look like their mom. Nothing but love for you brother.
I feel for ya, tough to watch the crop slowly burn up and seemingly everyone else is getting rain. We're better off than you in southern MN, but it's taking it's tole here too. From here it gets better going east, and worse going north and west. I could take you flying sometime if you'd like to see it from the air.

Hope that surgery does wonders for him, my Fiance's Grandpa got a replacement hip and it was a game changer. My dad goes in for a new hip on Thursday. Hope the rain this week hasn't been too harsh for you guys up there.
Once again you can have some of our NE NY rain. Now we get Fred tonight. I've done those kind of paths in overgrown fields for horseback riding. Got a little carried away with my patterns though because some of the people couldnt find their way out!

Zach, sorry to hear about the poor expectations on harvest. I enjoyed your other video too, especially cool to see Onyx doing well racing.
That was great you done that for the Church! People now days don't help people like they use too! God Bless You and Your! Family!
Greenbush...funny to hear my hometown on YT. Used to hear the races from my folk's place 3 miles away. Hallock was another hot place to race many years ago.
Exact opposite here in Ontario we can’t get enough of a break from the rain to even get our manure spread
Enjoying both channels. Please keep giving more content on both.

I convinced my dad to replace both his knees at the same time so he didn't have to do the recovery twice. Was a little more work for me to help him but was well worth it when he was up and pain free!
Got to love trails in the woods, deer like them to.
I've never seen any of this channel before, but I just watched some of this video, so now I can say with very good confidence that I have seen it.
You need a heavier chain than the one you had pulling trees . When it damp you can still harvest the soybeans . If it gets to wet that's when it's nice to have 4 wheel drive . Where I harvest 4 wheel drive is handy especially if you have to harvest corn when you're leaving ruts tire deep .
Praying for some rain for you. We had a wet spring and just had some good rain for the last four days. Praise the Lord.
love the family side really good , your a good Dad for sure
Lol, reading between the lines/corn rows…my belly is hurting from laughter.
The rain has come to Sweden now, one city got 160mm (6"+) in 12 hours. Its insane how much it rained the last 7 days.
Enjoyed the video and racing videos. Always good to see Onyx doing something he loves. He’s a good racer. Just needs seat time.
Glad she healed up so good .

Nice work Dad on the trail. Something I would have done back in the day. Like the racing channel as well.
Like bees to a picnic as your kids to a new trail. A win for both parties!
Little bit of memories, my first experience with heavy equipment was running a Bobcat Skidsteer with a mower attachment. DEFINITELY not as nice as fancy as the one here, and out of 8 working days running it, there was probably 2 days where something didn’t go wrong. Motor started to fall off, wheels on the mower falling off, blades hitting rocks and falling off, almost driving the skid-steer off the trailer while loading it
Technically I think that is a juniper tree. Most Americans wrongly assume that American red cedar is cedar but it was miss named and is actually a juniper tree.
thats cool you were up in the bush we call it, im from roseau that track is better than what it use to be!
