​@@user-te1hi9rx7b It is not tax money. It comes out of the budget from the royal grant. The Royal Grant is derived from the Crown Estates profits which are paid over to the government. The government receives more money than what it allocates to the Grant. Should the Monarchy be resolved all the profits from the Crown Estates will rvert back to the RF. You as a citizen pay less than 2£ yearly on tax for security at public events. A win win situation actually for the public given that this event brings in a heck of a lot more in revenue than what is spent.

Tax payer's money is only used when the Royals are performing duties for the good of the country and the King and Prince William also pay taxes on their personal wealth and investments.

I saw a video flashback put out today of the Trooping the Colour from 1989. William and Harry were there, roughly ages 7 and 5, and little William was acting silly just like Louis does! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! The Queen rode by herself in a carriage as Philip was riding behind her on horseback with Charles and I believe the Duke of Kent. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and the Queen looked lovely in a blue and white print dress. As she was seated reviewing the marching troops, the cameras showed her tapping her foot to the marches! Such a wonderful film to see! 😄

This was fantastic! Catherine looks so healthy and happy! Great seeing her again!! The Royals really know how to be ROYAL!! The day was exciting and beautiful and witnessing so many years of tradition is spectacular! ❤ ALL of the Beautiful Royal Family! I am thrilled that everyone was able to be a part of this historic, wonderful day. God bless you all❤

Everybody looked super and true to form, the Royal Irish brought the rain with them! 😊 I loved Princess Catherine's dress and she looked impeccable as ever. I can see the stress of recent events in her eyes and there seems to be a heaviness over the Wales' however this is only to be expected as a period of illness affects levels of confidence. King Charles is looking remarkably well following his treatment. Well done to the royal family and to all who took part in this pageant on such a wet morning.

I’m in awe because for Catherine to make such an effort to attend is amazing. I’m going through chemotherapy and there’s no way in hell I’m going to get dressed up, makeup on and hair done. I know she has people to help her but still I’m struggling to move around the house most of the time. Now I hope people will stop spreading vile stories about her and let her finish her treatment in private.

Lydia has done a great job here. Really appreciate all the hard work. The best overview of the day I've seen. So lovely to see the family together so close and supportive of each other. It's been a tough time for the family the last few years. So good to see such a perfect day, with all So happy. Very proud of our King and his family. I pray she is not enduring pain. I lost many family members (and many friends, and an ex-husband) to cancer and chemo is no laughing matter. Great to see her again and let us all pray by next year she feels great.
