Please react to Diana Ross's version of this song!
The LEGENDARY Iconic musical Genius Mr Marvin Gaye
They were fabulous together. RIP to both of them. Gone too soon. 😢
Marvin...such a wonderful soul
Things were so much simpler back in this day and time! I truly wish we were back then!!!!
Classic soul at its finest ✌🏾
Talking about magic!!! They don't don't do duets like this anymore . Appreciate you guys for this. Rip to both of them.
Such pure emotion
A classic by 2 legends. ❤
The Tammi Terrell Story needs to be told. And we can't think of a better actor and singer in her own rights than the multi talented AND LOOKALIKE---TARAJI P. HENSON.
STOP 🚦you guys, you bringing back to the great days of Motown how happy is this music no hateing, no shading pure class RIP Marvin and Tammi 🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶💐
It is a joy to see our younger generation enjoying the music I was blessed to grow up hearing. I love Tammi Terrell, her voice, her smile, so smooth. Their relationship was tight, you can see it here. Marvin Gaye was devastated when she passed away so young. I miss music from then. Music now is just not music. Nice reaction ✌💙 to ya
My beautiful beloved north Philly sister Ms Thomasina Montgomery aka Tammi Terrell
Omg, I remember when this came out..I played it over and over. They were absolutely genius together! Great Reaction!
It is like witnessing a miracle. Musically.
They had so much chemistry!
@Mixed- These two were so great together. Tammy unfortunately died way to young. she was just 24 years old when she left us. Marvin was very close to her and it really shattered him when she passed away. This is a great duet and a great song.
She was such a great singer, and so pretty. Really sad how things went for her. One of the greatest songs ever.
Tha jam!
Music of soul to mind, Two of best of Motown Town, Sweet voice of Tammi and magic of Marin Gaye, the best of best, its soul to heaven angels, with beauty of it all. The best to you both of you, let music play on. Yes! grew up on Motown Sound, kids.
Checkout Marvin singing I Heard it through the Grapevine (acaplla)
Marvin would go on to sing and write some great songs, but he was never really the same emotionally after the death of his good friend, Tami Terrell. Yes, this was written by Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson.
One of my favorite songs growing up since I grew up in a household with diverse musical tastes between my mom and older sister, I grew up listening to everything at the time and then I discovered my own music on my own from movies and tv
Are you referring to Ashford & Simpson who sang "Solid as a rock?" Wow! I never knew that they wrote this classic. Their song "Solid as a rock" was a favorite of mine as a kid. Still love it.

They wrote all of Marvin and Tammi's duets, with the exception of "If This World Were Mine," which Marvin wrote.
Great reaction to one of my favorite songs (and performances) ever!!! Tammi was such a cutie and Marvin Gaye, from the interviews I've seen, was a thoroughly decent man! I am not a fan of sampling but the late great Ami Winehouse sampled this one for her - Tears Dry On Their Own which is also a great song!

he had demons (at least two thirds of which could be traced back to his father and later killer Marvin Gay Snr (Marvin added the 'e' to his name when he started singing professionally to distance himself from his dad, to get rid of any rumours about his sexuality and I think also as a sort of homage to singer Sam Cooke) and he didn't know how to deal with them, he needed help. That's all I'm saying. Poor man. Apparently he was distraught when Tammi died.
Marvin Gaye was never the same after the passing of Tammy Terrell.

@@MIxxEDREACTIONS0520 It sure was magic....
Their voices are so outstanding together and they sang amazing as a duet. But I can’t listen to this song without focusing on the amazing bass playing by James Jamerson. I don’t care what people say about John Paul Jones or Geezer Butler, Jamerson was the GOAT!
You guys need to check out Michael McDonald’s covers of Motown music. It’s awesome
They was a couple also
