    great video, glad your trail model rzr fits. i have not idea why they don't narrow up the base cabinets for a min of 80" floor space as that would be sooo easy. the counter top could remain the same depth with a narrower base cabinet. our 4 seat pro r is 80" wide with sand tires on and several friends are real close to 80" dune or desert prepped. the only other issue is the complete lack of cargo capacity. the later model turbo or pro r models are close to 2000 lbs dry! that toyhauler would need a min of 4000 lb ccc for those with camping gear and some water. the floor plan is great and at only 5100lbs dry weight thats a very easy unit to tow!

    Excellent video job. You answered my concerns 100%. I'm currently looking at the XLR but the next size bigger because I didn't see any info on the 20' and was not sure if my machine would fit. I have a RZR 4S that is 60 inches. I want to keep the trailer as small as possible and the 20' will be just right. Tomorrow, I will be looking for an XLR. Again, excellent job.

    I would like to know how you strap it down. I have a 30 foot nitro XLR toy hauler by forest river. I have a Polaris razor four seater that goes inside but every time I go on a trip the straps come loose I put six straps on it each and every time and no matter what I do the straps all come loose after a 4 hr drive

    I use the D rings that are mounted in the floor of the trailer and run my straps underneather to the tow hook at the back and the front tie down plate at the front of the RZR. I had a problem with the tie down points on the trailer being to close the the tie down points on the RZR so I run the straps from the forward tiedown point in the trailer all the way to the back of the RZR and the most rearward tie-down point in the trailer to the front of the RZR. It ends up making a bit of an "X" pattern underneath with the long straps but so far I haven't had any issues. It seems like it allows it to rock a bit without unstrapping itself. Hope that makes sense!

    Do your couches have to stay to the side walls? I was looking at a 2018 model and the rear garage has a queen bed and 2 fold out couches and the couches and the bed both can lay horizontal across the roof giving 74 inches of clearance from floor to the couches. Maybe yours is different because it’s a 2016 and the one I saw is a 2018? I also have an aftermarket cage that’s chopped like 5 inches so mine is only 69 inches tall

  • @travisadventureprojects4578

    @travisadventureprojects4578

    Жыл бұрын

    Ya thats a slightly different option to ours. When you have the queen bed the couches mount to the lift for the bed so they are able to raise up as well. Ours are just hard mounted to the wall.

    I appreciate the info. The salesman was actually wrong. There’s only about 67 inches of ground clearance between floor and bottom of the sofa with the sofa raised up. My rzr is 69 inches tall with aftermarket cage. I had to pull my rzr in with the sofa down on the wall. My rzr is 69 inches wide and was able to fit it

    I haven't weighed it at a scale but you're right with the RZR and water tanks you don't much extra weight to play with. When we do trips to go riding in the RZR we pair down a lot of what we bring. If we are road tripping without it we load up whatever we want.

    So 64" wide machine. So how much room would you so on each side? Left is 2 ' 6" counter or 3" deep counter and right side 2' deep cabinets. So would you say with a 8.5 wide trailer you have 2' at least on each side? Thanks for video, great info

  • @travisadventureprojects4578

    @travisadventureprojects4578

    It's a complicated question as it's the tires on the left hand side, but the roll cage on the right hand side that come close. I'd say you probably have 2" or so, but depending on the roll of your side by side and how rough your roads are it could potentially hit the cabinet. Now if you machine was lower than the cabinet you would have lots of room. I think with these things being able to test fit your machine it key. There are so many factors other than width that decide if something is going to fit or not!

    @@draintech5191 I know the Can Ams are a little shorter but wider in the body. If your planning on RVing full time then you would sure want something that's not stressful to load an unload. We had our machine first so we were able to bring it to test fit it when we bought our trailer. There are so many trailer shapes out there I'd test fit it to make sure everything fit comfortably!
