Well, Klei just announced that in the next patch they're fixing the cartographic module to reveal adjacent map entities

Still not sure if this makes it better than the telescope. Good news for sure though. Thanks for sharing.

Don’t forget to upgrade your heavy watt joint plates as well. Pointless to upgrade wire if you don’t upgrade the joint plates! 😁

Maybe you can have rover build a tile against the ice and climb up in the right corner of the square shadow which should reveal the room? Also do the heavy watt wires really not transfer heat just by the fact that they are physically connected? I'm very surprised. Anyways thanks for this series it's a delight~

They would need a medium to transfer thermals, such as a gas or liquid. I will keep trying with Rover, thanks for the idea and nice comments.

Something I just found out is that the rovers can now be deconstructed and you get 100g of what it is made of

That Hubble telescope description is misleading but it’s not wrong. It scans the space directly adjacent to the telescope, not the space adjacent to the space tile the telescope is in. Although I have also noticed many other things in the descriptions which leads me to believe one or all of the developers are dyslexic, namely the descriptions of many of the traits the negative traits are often marked positive and vice versa.

Maybe it's time for a spacesafer upgrade, 3/4 ladder bed, a great hall, 3/4 exosuit dock with gas pump, a big load of oxylite and some glass to harvest solar power once you land to power all that. Grubfruit preserve is a must have for moral bonus but I guess it take some planning before hand ( gotta do something with that sulfur geyser ). All this make it way easier to deal with new asteroids.

11:30 - Yeah, 2 aquatuners with supercoolant is enough to cool anything, except sour gas boilers above 10 kg/s.

about the rocket and you co2. you can filter it in a long pipe whit on the end of it a gas brigde so it flow the hole pipe around til full. and wen full plumbing the pipe by a dupe. so you make bottle´s of co2 of it. and then you can vent it out side the rocked. it´s a option for the moment.

You should start using heavy conductive wire. Especially on the sauna join plates vacuum. You may have to access it again to replace the joint wires.

i think it is better to run two aquatuners in parallel over series due to 20 kg/s vs 10kg/s being moved at a time.

It doesn’t matter because 20kg cooled 14 degrees is the same as 10kg cooled 28. The only difference being the more accurate control over the temperature with the tuners parallel
