I'd be curious to see the rest of your 1bbl brewery. I just received one of these as well. I love how well packaged these tanks are.

Honestly its pretty much an over sized home brew set up right now. We are figuring out this tank works reasonably well as a unitank though. We will try to get some footage of our next brew day to show you a slick way to use it.

Thanks for posting! I just got mine. I’m curious to know about any new bit of information you may share since your very first pour after utilizing this Brite Tank. Or, is it pretty formal and straightforward? Thanks a bunch!

first of all, thanks for the video, I have an idea that I want to try out, and I would like you to give me an opinion. In principle the workflow should be like this, primary fermentation is done in a plastic conical fermentor, where after cold crashing it with glycol immersion chiller, I would transfer Beer with a pump to a pressurised stainless steel vessel (custom made Brite essentially), but in between I would be transfering the beer through a 1st chiller with a copper coil dropping the temp to 2C, 2nd Filter (made from inline single pass water filter) and in the end an inline carbonator. After complete transfer from Primary, i would reattach the hose from the primary to the Brite's OUT and recirculate until reaching desired co2 level. This is basically the same principle as if I am using a keg for an inline force carb, so please answer, your advice and opinion would be helpful. best regards, George

My one thought - just from experience - is without an oversized filter or reducing filters you may end up with dramatically reduced flow or blockage which would impact the ability to carbonate consistently in-line. Unless you consistently can drop very clear in your conical that would be a worry of mine. Also I'm not sure the final recirculation step would be necessary, but without working with the exact set-up it's hard to say. Overall I like the in-line chilling and carbonating idea! Those are just a couple logistic things I could see coming up. Hope that is helpful!

Genus Brewing thanks for reply, much appreciated. I was just hoping that I didn't made any logical mistakes, so maybe it would be better to do only wort filtering after boiling, dump the yeast after primary through outlet and maybe only crash or add gelatin for clearing and resting in Brite tank cold crashed.

So... this is a high tech Carboy. Correct? Also, if this one comes with a chiller, what do you do if it needs to be heated?

Yes it is! We set ours up to an ink bird that pushes glycol to chill it, and turns on a fermwrap to heat it

Because they are starting a small microbrewery and need something a little more versatile than a 6 gallon carboy?

because the more I brew and think about going commercial, the more I realize that good, efficient brewing on a commercial scale is not just simply scaling up your recipes/equipment. there is a certain scale (2gal, 10 gal, 1bbl +, 5bbl+, ect) where different pieces of equipment make a lot more sense than doing things the way you could get away with at a smaller scale.
