Thanks. And yup, we should have all of the bases covered for a while with this property and a little peace of mind knowing we have something to fall back on if needed.

Dave...we're contemplating the same, except we're also looking at a development where all of the work is already completed. Would you feel comfortable sharing your budget, including land, construction, planning and design costs, aka..."all in" costs?

Well,, land and labor costs would no doubt be so different in every part of the country that I'm not sure it would be very helpful but I would be fine with sharing costs once we get a little closer to complete. By the time we roll on to the property next month we should have our final numbers for the most part.

Looks really good, are you guys considering being Boondockers Welcome hosts? We travel all over North America and use Harvest Host and Boondockers Welcome a lot.

Thanks. We have not given Boondockers Welcome much thought. But after over 11 years of being fulltimers we know a LOT of people and I'm sure a lot will come by. IN FACT we already have 4 couples with a week scheduled each this summer LOL!!! I guess we better get that extra site done LOL!! Truth is they don't know it but we have paint brushes ready for them!
