I honestly think that blacked out front headlight could be one of my favorite mods of all time...something about it just looks incredible. you might want to put a 2 component clear coat over the headlight because it will then be more scratch resistant. the headlight will probably get lots of impacts from bugs and stuff. and if it gets scratched you will see it better in the black.

I really missed you and Dado working on the bikes when you went west. You guys are great together! You feed off each other! Lots of good information and dry comedy.

When I used VHT night shade on my old tail lights, it drastically reduced the performance of the tail lights. Idk how it won't affect the performance of the headlight. And that was without blacking it out like you guys did.

@@pauldavies4650 it has to!! I watched them do it and immediately was like oh...too dark. Then when I saw it finished I was like wait, what?! Haha. That night shade is tricky. Literally two very light times going over it is borderline too dark.

I cant believe what a difference just blacking out a headlight can make in the overall appearance of this bike.! It looks absolutely incredible ! Probably the cheapest mod you have ever done that made such an impact. Anxious to see the light on. Great job guys !

yeah man we literally said the same thing...I thought it would help make the stock light look a little better but man I didn't think it would change the entire appearance. We love it!

It won't affect the lights at all so I don't know why it wouldn't be legal...

headlight does look cool, but the fact is it WILL reduce the ability to see when riding at night! Of course that shit wont matter if this bike ONLY gets ridden during daylight! :)

I don’t know but I think the stock handlebar will look better since you are doing the brushed aluminum tank but may be when is done I’ll change my mind lol, can’t wait to see the final product 🤘🏻. @@JaretCampisi It's 100% doable. Non permanent. Measure and cut rectangles to wrap around the gold sections separated by the triple clamps. Wrap it so the overlap line is in the back out of view.

Now get rid of the gold forks, never been a big fan of those. On my bike which is black, gun metal gray with red accents....the gold forks just didn't work for me so I wrapped them with a carbon fiber vinyl and it completely changed the look of my bike.
