Hi Claudine, Donavan & Zoe! I’m so glad I have found your channel! My partner and I were planning on doing the same thing as you - living on a sailing boat! You are living our dream right now. @@suzilewiz you most likely know this but Sailing Lavagabonde is the most famous one… we watched them since the very first episode like 6-7 years ago… or more. They’ve had their highs and lows depending on the boat they were in and their life situation, so lots of folks out there either love them or hate them…. But I’d say overall, they are pretty entertaining and we’ve enjoyed their channel. They have 2 little boys.

During this time, do you guys practice anchor watches? Figured it wouldnt be too necessary, but good habits.

Hi! Are you talking about taking turns on watch to make sure we don’t drift? We didn’t practice, but we did learn about it during our ASA classes and while sailing with our friend Anthony.

@@sailingokaliptus Yes. Since where you are anchored and the weather seems ok, just was wondering if you thought to practice maintaining watches. Do you keep your AIS on? I guess in the popular crusing season, there would be more boat traffic to worry about.
