I was raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range and having been a ski racer and big game hunter my whole life, I have traveled extensively to all the mountains throughout the western US. Without a doubt, the San Juans are my favorite and to me the most impressive. Great video.

I lived in Tride for months, and it was amazing. One of the best decisions I've made!!

I just started sharing your adventures and I appreciate all the ideas for breathtaking day hikes. Now that I am retired, I can't wait to try out some of these places. Even though I am a Coloradoan for almost 60 years, I haven't been to the San Juans and now I see what I've been missing. Thanks for the tips.

A lot of amazing awesomeness in this video. Excellent vlog all around. Telluride sure looks swanky and exactly what I envision a ski town to be. The waterfall was great but that hike to the Blue Lakes was insanely incredible. Wow, is all I have to say. I had no preconceived notion of the San Juans before this year. I knew of the area but that is about it. I followed a CDT thru-hiker’s journey on KZread this year and was blown away by the scenery. How have I never even considered this area is beyond me. Then I watched your series on the San Juan’s and was blown away again. So stunning and so much to do. You gave me so many great ideas for a future trip, so thank you.

We can honestly say it is one of the most gorgeous places we have visited in the US! And then throw in the different towns and mining history and it really just blew us away and we fell in love with the area!

This is my part of the world and I love it so. I've been everywhere you went and enjoyed watching you enjoy it! The Taco Del Gnar in T-ride is closed but the one in Ridgway is still going strong. My favorite is the Pork Belly also. Great video.

Thanks again! I had gone over to Buena Vista but came back to see Telluride! My favorite part (of many things) was driving 12 miles up Last Dollar Road from the airport in the dark and waking up in the morning to the sun coming up on the mountain peaks! I'm back in Arizona now, but thanks so much for showing me the wonderful places in this area!

We loved our time in the San Juan’s….Gnar tacos in ridgeway was delicious - some of the best tacos we’ve had and we’re from San Diego! We are definitely going back as the gondola in Telluride was closed when we were there 😕. Thanks for all your great ideas, tips and beautiful photography!

I've been to many forest and places, but always find myself going back to telluride and the San Juan mountains. It's peaceful and beautiful. Plus only 7-8 hours from my home in Phoenix. Great video guys!

You live in Ouray? Lucky.. i live in Phoenix AZ. Travel through Ouray about every 2-3 years. I love southwestern Colorado and the san juans.

Awesome been loving your videos recently. Me and my girlfriend live in Albuquerque and we absolutely love these places you guys have been. Been long time visitors to these areas and we never get tired of them 👍 we’ll be Durango in August for the San Juan Brewfest, that’s our anniversary gift every year for ourselves 😁🍻

I was VERY lucky to live and ski in Telluride back in the late 70's - it was one of my favorite places to live/ski. I still visit a couple of times a year. The Strong house Brewery is the BOMB!
