M C it’s actually the platform he’s running on. It’s an economic philosophy and solution that can be implemented. Pandering would be saying “make America great again” instead of “here’s a solution to fix the problems.” Pandering is “I’m gonna fight for you” he doesn’t say keywords and buzzwords. Be open minded and learn something. It’s all truth and logic without a catch. For once in our lives.

His speech was such a contrast to Biden and others who focused on Trump almost exclusively. Yang's message laid out a vision for our country that I want for my children and for every child. Yang's proposal is compelling. People are paying attention.

I'm a Software Engineer and this guy talking about automation is spot on. We need to transition to new jobs that can't be automated away. My suggestion to many of you , skip the student loans and become an electrician, daycare worker, plumber, mechanic ( electric mechanic ) , jobs that involve movement, non-repetive tasks and critical thinking. Start a new business build new products. If you do go to college make sure there is a demand for the degree your getting. I.e computer, technology , marketing, finance ...

I'm not a parent. I'm the kid. I'm turning 18 in just a few months (fortunately in time to vote for Yang) so the future that Yang keeps talking about making for his children is the future I'll be living in. Andrew Yang is the only candidate who has shown a clear path toward making a world where I can happily, safely, and comfortably live decades from now. Yang is bringing forth a future in which I'll be able to create a family of my own, and I and my children will live on a planet that isn't collapsing socially, economically, or environmentally. Thank you, Andrew Yang. You make the world worth being.

Unfortunately, the primary in my state is literally less than a week before my birthday so I won't be able to vote in it. @M C What makes America? To me it is the fact that the middle class have some (democratic) power, and the ruling class is not hereditary. Trust me there ain't no place like that before. And now we're starting to see it slipping away: income inequality is becoming extreme, the rich has so much political power that's eroding democracy, lost of jobs, diminishing quality of life, etc. Yang, like Trump, saw this happening, but unlike Trump, he actually has solutions that may work. He's not about dividing people and just winning for himself, Yang really wants this country to be great for his own and our children. He's brilliant AND empathic. Maybe he hasn't done enough in your eyes but to me he will lead us out of this rut.

I’m a high school senior student in California and hearing Andrew Yang talk about fixing America gives me hope for my future in this country. If he didn’t run for president I would’ve lost hope for my future. He is the most common sense candidate among all of the others, he sees the big picture of the future this world. A President should not only care about fixing the problems of the present but also the problems that will drag on to the future generations. And to add up to this, Yang’s UBI plan will in some form touch on the lives of all generations for the better. Young generations like me will indirectly get a benefit from UBI even though we won’t get it because it’ll help stabilize low-mid income families’ stress on utility bills and basic needs such as school supplies and etc.

Have you listened to Kamala talk about reining in prescription drug costs by suing them, putting the CEOs responsible for the opiod epidemic in jail, and taking away their patents? It's one of the reasons why I prefer her - she has a different way of understanding how the system works and how to use it to accomplish her goals. She and Yang are not far apart on many issues, and this is good. A strong, unified front pushing the same message around the country is a good thing, a strong offense.

Loved it too. Glad to hear that he's sharpened some parts of his standard stump speech. Much more impactful! But I wish he'd left in his usual line of "Challenge Accepted!" leading up to the "wave" bit. I think "Challenge Accepted" should be one of his standard slogans/tag lines. I absolutely love Yang!! I’ve never in my 40 years of life voted nor Registered.... I’m voting in 2020 cause I live overseas and my mixes race children whom were all born in the US, we left when they were were 8,5 and 1 and they don’t remember their home country. I refused to let them visit as I didnt want them to have a negative experiences.... but they grew up to adults and went .... and they came back immediately as they’ve never experienced such racial issues in their lives..... never have they had a gun drawn on the being stopped by the police for a traffic (seatbelt ) violation..... I raised awesome confident men, and after 2 months in the US they vowed never to return..... this is not the America I grew up in.... I’m so sad. This is why I’m voting for Yang.....my children shouldn’t fear living in the USA!

If Yang starts moving ahead, he'll develop his own troll army paid to spread slander about him. It's really sad that we have to deal with it, but what's really sad is sooooo many people are falling for it.

PFD in Alaska is always a nice help that time of year but it is taxed, so it would be nice to have the “no strings attached” UBI for families that truly need it. For some it’s a bonus, for the ones stuck in a rut it’s a necessity

I just saw it for my 10th or so time.. such a good speech! I love when hes like "And do you know what I saw?" and that guy yells "WHAT????" hahaha cracks me up every time. Also when he says "when her store closes what is her next move?" and a guy yells "CRIME!!!!" .. it all just adds to the flavor. One of the best speeches ever.

It’s amazing how the crowd is able to give answers to his questions. Just shows that even if he doesn’t become president his is still accomplishing so much by bringing real 21st century problems to the forefront of American politics. Truly inspiring!!!

I just love Andrew Yang. How anyone, Republican or Democrat, could listen to him speak and not immediately support him is something I do not understand.

@@stephenmaarhuis2551 Don't count on Yang running in 2024. He's not going to sit it out in some other political job. He'll have moved on to another all consuming project. I believe that this is a now or never opportunity to make some positive change in this country. If we don't elect him in the primaries, we don't deserve him.

He speaks like no other politician. Compelling, engaging, empowering, empathetic, grateful, humility, passion and intellect. This person is truly the opposite of Donald Trump.

As a Dad all I wish for is to be able to tell my child we are building a better world for her.

"Our kids are not alright." I'm not a parent but it is apparent to me that the statement is sadly true. Andrew gets it. Andrew can fix it. Yang 2020! FORWARD!

Yang is the definition of the American dream. He breathes wisdom, compassion and honesty. Please vote him in, the world needs him. Support from the Netherlands!

Actually, it's more fun IMO to watch him giving the same speech in different places, it's kind of like watching your favorite singer singing the same songs in different settings, a little different each time. But the real Yang addiction comes when you start watching the long form interviews.
