    If this little sweetheart has learnt this amount of English in just 4 months she is clearly a very bright child. And with a quick brain and a smile that would melt ice she can't go wrong.

    Why cannot you just allow a compliment go to a child without trying to be clever and qualify her ability. I think she is bright, she is happy and puts her a light year ahead of her critics. You must also allow for the fact that coming from the environment she was in and switching to the American way of life is not exactly an easy ride.

    I am an Indian. I want to ask you, why did you adopt Indian child rather than child of your own race ? Everyone likes kids that look like them. Why did you choose a darker skin child different from your light skin kids ?

  • @fatemaalmerri2579

    @fatemaalmerri2579

    Life as a orphan in Indian slum would have been much difficult. Only thing I could see in her face is a level of comfort. She is not afraid, she is just unable to communicate which she will definitely do in coming years. Patenting is not a easy task and you guys are parenting a child from completely different background. Loads of love from India. Say her " Bohoth sara pyar"

I cant thank you enough for saving one of us. For giving one of us a better life and a better future. She will grow up to be passionate and loving and most importantly, educated. That is all because of you guys. You should be so proud of giving this little girl a life that she couldnt have even dreamed about. As I wipe a tear of happiness, I hope you will inspire many families around you to do the same. Thank you god for such wonderful people like yourselves.

    It’s amazing how quickly Cadence is picking up English, she should be so proud of herself! For just under 2 years, I’ve been ‘mentoring’ a Syrian refugee & we’ve become great friends since; she’s progressed so much with English & recently, my school hosted a day where we tried Syrian food & she and her family told the story of how they emigrated to the UK. She read quite a complex poem in English so well - it was so rewarding to see how much she has progressed from knowing no English at all when she first came to the UK. It’s definitely made me consider adopting from another country in the future ☺️

It was very hard to learn and adjust. It helped that I had more people around me that spoke English rather than my native language. She’s gonna be fluent and speaking like crazy in no time lol. I'm Indian and I know what that pink drink is called, it's called Thandai, there is a curtain type of thick, sweet, and pink liquid that is called Thandai Syrup, you can get the syrup from your local Indian stores. It is a refreshing Indian drink that is not only healthy but is very refreshing in the summer time. All you have to do is mix the syrup with milk, and that's it!! Tip: make sure that it is equal amounts. Indians use it to cool off in the Summer.

She's indeed doing great with communication for someone that age especially coming from that kinda background in India and be able to express herself at that level cuz i remember it took about a year for my slightly younger niece when her family immgrated to the US, and that inspite of a regular home and family in India. Why scores and scores of Bengalis migrate to these states in search of work ?. How many industrialists are from Bengal ? So don’t exaggerate. Every state it’s own strengths :)
