Our "How we met" video is here! Our communication was amazing, and the DMs were lit!
Oh yeah, finally the first podcast. In this episode of The Merge with Brenian and Jessica, they dive into how they met and the ways they were in great communication with one another. From their constant communication via Instagram DM's to meeting up during Covid, their story was just getting started. Brenian was intentional about dating, clear communication, and commitment. After many conversations about love, marriage, dating, understanding, and challenges, they agreed to ask the tough questions and waste no time. Regardless, the truth remained, communication was the key to it all.

In relationships, communication allows you and your person to build trust, express emotions, and work through any challenges that arise. In fact, communication is often considered the cornerstone of a successful relationship, as it promotes understanding, empathy, and mutual respect. When dating, clear and open communication can help both of you understand each other's needs and expectations, ensuring that you two are on the same page. By fostering effective communication during the dating phase and relationship, you guys can establish a strong foundation that can lead to a long-lasting, fulfilling relationship. In short, healthy relationships require good communication, and dating is no exception.

I am currently 20, in a relationship and I must say you guys are so encouraging🥺. I met my partner in high school and we've been through so many things. There have been so many break ups, trials and tribulations and I've lost hope and the motivation to even continue the relationship before. Now we are working on our relationship with GOD , individually and as a couple and honestly it is life changing of course we still have some rough patches and some things we are still healing from but with GOD, Anything is possible and I really see the changes in our relationship and I am really proud of us. Its crazy how I was led to ur channel... Y'all proposal video came across my newsfeed on KZread but I hadn't watched it yet. I told myself I was going to come back to it . Fast forward 2 days after y'all video coming across my newsfeed I was listening to a prophetess who mentioned y'all video and what ur podcast was called and I instantly remembered y'all video. I feel GOD has showed me several times who my kingdom spouse is but I stay asking for confirmation to make sure I'm hearing right and not that this is what I'm trying to manifest on my own without HIM. What's even crazier is GOD showed me how when me and my kingdom spouse come together through our story we will show other ppl how GOD is very much real and will lead our footsteps through a podcast and now here I am looking at y'all podcast where GOD definitely brought y'all together. I'm trying to wrap my head around what is GOD trying to show /tell me through y'all? Omg, this was a beautiful love story by God. I'm sort of in a similar situation except the guy that pursued me online is pulling back & saying that he knows that he can't fully give me what I need emotionally right now & he thinks it's unfair to me. We are long distance;I'm in FL & he's in CO. We are going to be friends right now... I know in my heart that I want to be with him in marriage, yet I have to let God do it His way & lean not on my own understanding. I'm not giving up! 😊

Okay 954 ! Broward county has definitely been home for me forever . I watch these videos but this is the first I said okay couples in the same county. I watched this entire video on my lunch break 😂😂 You made a good point Jessica ! As much as I am open to what God brings (I think 😂) I still have reservations as in being in a relationship receiving the effort and being vulnerable. I pray for a man that’s patient because it will take me a lot .. of time. Beautiful story !! God bless you both.

It’s crazy cause I’m 23 and I feel this pressure from everyone around me to find that person. I am honestly not sure how dating even works anymore. I find myself stressing on weather I’ll be single because I’m not dating around like everyone else. As a woman should I be taking initiative when it comes to finding my person?

Hello Mariah, thanks for subscribing and being engaged with our content, we don't take it for granted. We truly appreciate you. What we would suggest first is to 1. Love God. Understand how much he loves you, how he loves you and understand the extent he went to prove just that by sending us his son, Jesus. Secondly, Love Yourself! Wheew, it'll take some getting used to but love on yourself in every way possible. Get to know yourself, go out on solo dates, spend time in the word of God, ask the Lord to show you you, take care of your health, and exercise if physically possible; it'll help boost confidence and a host of other benefits. Read motivational books and listen to uplifting music and be around people like so. Also, you are young so work on yourself, educate yourself, and gain skills in the meantime and be open to possibility, be it the Lord's will. In addition, connect with likeminded women, find a mentor and above all guard your heart. Lastly, become discoverable if dating intentionally is your desire, update your social media profile pictures, go to church and serve (hint: stay after a little while sometimes), go to networking events etc. Ensure you are to be seen, yet you don't have to be on every scene. Without making this any longer than it is, we hope this helps in every way, be encouraged.

Believers no one looses their mind in Christ. The usps and the union is responsible for me going to work and not being paid. I have never dated my former employer. So this financial disaster was not about dating the wrong man.

Men, don't ever chase any woman. That's not in God's order and now she has all the leverage in this relationship. I see why she ran from him for several months, almost positive getting broke off by guys she was chasing. Worshiping women has always been the fall of man. This lame has to learn like many men before him. She settled for this dude because she knows he'll stick around no matter what she does. This brother is going our sad!
