EXTREMELY. I watched a docuseries on Netlfix about Indian matchmaking and arranged marriages, and family is one of the top priorities for choosing who their children should marry. I found it very interesting because that's technically what our parents did with us!

It honestly validates my feelings and makes me feel so good when yall keep reiterating that people don't have to live together first to know if they should be married. When ppl say otherwise, it just feels like a cop out to me to avoid putting in real work outside of being physical.

I can completely relate to those freshman moments. Being pretty sheltered to being free and getting all this male attention. Put myself in a lot of dumbbbb situations! 🤦🏾‍♀️ God kept me tho!

I agree. In college you get to experience so much and you get A LOT of male attention and that can be new and fun when you aren’t used to it. College was fun until it wasn’t lol

I was engaged May 13 2019. My fiancé just dropped down on one knee and asked will you marry me, no speech or anything lol. We were in Spain so I really didn’t need a speech since he flew me out 😂 we are fortunate enough to have video of it though!

I agree, you shouldn't have to live together before marriage to get to know someone.

I can completely relate to your college experience as a freshman. Looking back on it, I put myself in some dumb situations due to vulnerability and freedom. Being super sheltered your whole life and then going to college is lowkey a recipe for disaster 😭😭

My only “suggestion” so far is I just wanna see the sign in the back better because I love it so much lol. I recognized you guys always say that and when I peeped it on your story I was in love it.

Just found you guys through the recommendations and I was NOT disappointed. I love seeing healthy love, it really helps me as a young adult navigate relationships in a healthy way.

I honestly want to hear both of your parents point of view. 😂

Yes Vicki!! Strict parents. Pastors and Military. So boom, when I got to college, I was like “freedom is that you playa?”. Lol. I used to Skype my husband in college too😭

Please do a segment on finances: when is a good time to talk about it? Before or after marriage? I feel the church doesn’t talk about this enough and it’s important

The genuine way Vicky explained how Cam made her a better person and helped her develop a relationship with God, was so sincere. In addition, I enjoyed when Cam explained, to Vicky the importance of walking in HER purpose in life! God Bless your union! I truly enjoyed your pilot episode! My husband and I can definitely relate! Keep up the excellent content! Your Rock!

I like this story... (Though it’s not an arranged marriage: y’all literally met through other people who knew each other, you grew in genuine trust & friendship, formed an actual friendship which then turned into a relationship & a proposal. The parents encouraged & hoped for you guys to be together, but they didn’t chose y’all for each other- y’all chose each other)... but I digress LOL... It’s so cute & I love how honest y’all were. It’s good to hear the woman’s side of not really having a relationship with God & the guy being the example & encourager of such. You typically only hear the man coming to God though the woman. I had the pleasure of meeting you , Vicky at Chrisitian Faith Fellowship Church , in Waukegan, IL, you came and hugged me during prayer 🙏🏾 and you had such comforting presence. Also, seeing the effects of Cameron as a youth pastor and seeing how he talked to the young people. Very sweet spirits. Cameron’s mother prayed with me after my grandfather died, and she told me to be strong and prayerful.

Cam had me blushing for vicky when he named the exacts dates to important times in their relationship. ☺. Thats rare

I really appreciated her honesty about where she was mentally and emotionally her freshman year. Those are real feelings of a young lady that many will find familiar. It’s great she is willing to share and not ashamed to be transparent.

I’ve been watching y’all/hearing y’all voices for years on KZread/IG but hunnyyyy the podcast mics got y’all voices sounding so smooth. Weird comment, I know, but I listen to podcasts ALOT and some podcasters voices are aaaannoying. Great quality mics, as expected!

Wow!!!!! My husband and I just sat down at dinner and had this exact conversation with our 12 year old who will be 13 and a few days.
