After getting stuck at night on a long solo ride with a puncture on my then tube tyre ( I had some formula or some gel type thing which was of no use whatsoever), I was desperately searching for a solution. Got this done on my Inti 650 in April 2022 by Bhushan & team. No issues at all till now. Only lose about 1 psi over a month or so, which I think is common. Definitely gives peace of mind & confidence while on long rides.

First choice as always…. I got my Int 650 tubeless conversion done at Topgear Thumpers in 2023 before my Leh ride. Trust me throughout the ride and till now I haven’t faced a leakage issue. So good to see 'Top Gear Thumpers' and dear friend Bhusan, feature on your video. Top Gear Thumpers, based out of Marathahalli, Bangalore, is the place to go to for converting any modern bike having spokes rim with tube to tubeless type. I had a few punctures on my Enfield Interceptor 650 and had to struggle to get the tube puncture fixed. Bhusan converted my Interceptor to Tubeless type, and its been one of the best decisions for the bike. Its been 2 plus years since conversion and no issues at all. I also had a puncture sometime back on a ride, and could easily fix it myself using a tubeless puncture repair kit. Converting a tube type tyre to tubeless is an art and requires sound knowledge, skill, patience and space. A lot depends on preparing the rim for tubeless conversion, the cleaning process, getting rid of any undulations, etc. If done right and at the right place, chances are failure are almost negligiable. Many freinds in my riding circles have gotton various bikes converted to tubeless and running successfully. Its a big peace of mind, especially for those who love to tour on their motorcycles.

So informative! Just one question, how much is the weight difference? The weight of the tube would be reduced, but the sealant would meam additional weight! Since it's a change in the unsprung mass, was a bit curious about additional weight, if any and any consequent change in the bike's handling! Ofc, the convenience of a tubeless rim may far outweigh the cons of some additional unsprung mass for most people.

What about aluminium corrode issue? because while washing or riding in rainy season the water will get in between the spoke and seal given oxidation due to moisture and thus slowly damage the rim and spoke nipples in future

@@ashwinoashwin Water will not pass through the seal but tiny amount of water or moisture can easily trap between the seal and spoke nipples area's some reports are given by riders from european countries who use this step up for long term!

@@ashwinoashwin no issues with oxidation. These RIM material is not really aluminium (which is soft) but alloy of aluminium/ magnesium and many other elements which are corrosion resistant. Also there is coating over the surface, either powdercoating or anodising, So oxiditation worries are not a big bother. i have used them on interceptor for 2 plus years and recently changes tyre, and rim from inside did not have any issue.

My friend has done this and cost was around ₹2,500.00 The sealant they are using cost is around ₹450 per peice and valve coat is ₹50.00 from market. Only we have taken help from mechanic to remove tyre from rim. The whole process had taken 3 days. Thanks

No no. That shop belong to a friend. Its a workshop mainly for servicing RE motorcycles bu they do tubeless conversion for other bikes as well. I have seen TRK502, Triumph bonnie, 390 adv, etc also being converted to tubueless. But the RIM should ideally be cast alloy and no roll formed and welded steel, like old traditions wheels. Not sure what type is there on Yezdi adventure.

the sealent material is flexible so to some extent spokes can be tightened (trueing) without issues. Yes, but if spokes have to be chabged, there the conversion would fail.

Will it work for xcx tiger ?? My outex sealant is leaking now

Yes sir

It is not recommended and not a sustainable solution. The spokes to be tightened periodically otherwise the rims can get bend. You can do it for a Himalayan trip or so that's it. Motul has released a solution which can be filled in the tubes which may be an alternative option.

For xpulse 2004v will they do

Nx is way more costlier than himlayan but not a huge power difference also problem with nx is service and spare parts availability....i would rather prefer himalayan for half the price and learn to live with it ...coz u will get accustomed with himlayan within few days....but yes if u have that much huge money to spend on a nx which is not justified at that price range u can go for it ....but yes nx will be more reliable than himlayan but himalayan is also not that bad

Ultimately this is a JUGAAD. You can't really compare it with the real thing or claim that it'll work just as good as the real tubeless rims. How long it holds up remains to be seen. I am assuming we will get to hear more from you in the long run. Tc.

A JUGAAD is anyday better than pushing these heavy bikes with a flat tyre, isnt it. A jugaad, when used and approved by many, becomes a solution. There are comnies like OUTEX making these conversion kits for ages. Its a tried and tested JUGAAD with very high success rate. I have been using the same conversion by Way2speed on my interceptor and its all holding good. Having a tube puncture on a ride is the worst nightmare, so these Jugaads do help.

Dont pay high price for this sealent actually pidilite manufactures this and it sells for 200 rs a piece someone smartly removing the label and charging a bomb , i have used the pidilite sealant in my himalayan and it is working perfectly fine only thing to take care is you have to give it ample time to dry up and spread it constantly

Actually you can find these products easily in any nearby hardware shop as i also bought it from local shop also you will need an applicator which you have to buy separately for applying the same which will cost another rs. 100
