Lovely to hear real education about inner virtues, warmheartedness, patience, peace of mind and how to be a better human above all. The mind is everything. Lovely how he put a positive spin on his stateless status in India as a refugee, instead of being on the throne in Tibet, as better for the growth of his inner strength and a means of staying rooted & being able to reach/help more people. Kindness and compassion is the only way. People need to break out of their emotional selfishness, stop immersing themselves in the bitter conflict of politics, and find within and discover for themselves that peace only comes through compassion, love and a willingness to act for good, aligned with critical thought.

I cannot admit that i am a miserable person. Because i am also lucky. But when i compare myself to other persons, i am miserable, with some luck. There is this anger in me, that i cannot imagine things with ease any more. then there is another anger that variable videogame franchises taken turns they have taken, when it could be way more perfected for the cause.. and its not perfected.. now as i write i see something good with it.. the lazyness and leasures of our times.. Then there is life.. but life is life.. we are competing and we are developing some social concern.. but if i am left behind the social concern wont be favourable.. i meditate now.. but meditating is not thinking its concentration on one or more thing.. maybe extreme meditation is thinking but i have difficulty imagining a room with chains hanging from it when i do walking meditation.. perhaps my brain has degraded somewhat amongst hallucinations.. there was an up spike and i could imagine things, and there is a recession now especially with drugs.. also i have some social aim with imagining.. imagining artwork which is then enjoyed by others (i enjoy it, others can enjoy it) but there is no joy of making it together with others so the subconscious sais.. you did all the thinking and imagination.. and now there is no effect so its useless so subconsciously downregulates imagination.. thats why its good to draw and share with others while developing artwork. lonely artists always share their artwork in some way. then life is wild.. help out the poor a little bit will ya.. but with random birth there is more men then women so how is marriage working out ? it doesnt unless there are open marriages also.. but thats showing affection to another being other then in product but in touch.

May I ask a very simple question and I apologize if this comes across the wrong way, but what does it mean to be the Dalai Lama? I am very new to Buddhism and I have been unable to attend a sangha because of the pandemic. I have taken refuge. I have studied under the teachings of Tenzin Palmo. She was kind enough to give me the Dharma name Sonam Dawa. I fear I am not the best student so I thought I would ask you this question. Also, thank you for your kindness and generosity. I am sorry you had to repeat yourself so many times. Academics are always a difficult crowd.

The Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people. He is the 14th Dalai Lama. You should take some time to read his history (start with Wikipedia) because it is fascinating how he was chosen and the path his life took after that.

The Dalai Lama is right about weapons. The Evil Ones created explosives and weapons of mass destruction. The only ones that were intended is with our hand and feet. Also, The Sword and things like the Arrow. We don't have to use explosives. Peace is the best option of course.

a demilitarized world is no good. it should be semi demilitarized to live in comfort and also in some suffering we have during these ages. If comes an agressive primitive but evolved species military maybe recquired (but we can probably take samples and utilize biologic utilities for infiltration probably but not definitely [because of a more advanced immune system developed against more advanced virus systems]

It is high time to tame the through devastion and d through ??? since they are constantly causing lots of aggressions and sufferings to people, Tibetans and Taiwan. Your Holiness know what are the aggressors right now. It would really benefit the beings around the world.

To my great sadness I started noticing signs of Dalai Lama's mental decline. I believe he should use interpreters from now on as his English deteriorated to the point that he can't any longer express what he wants to say. Very sad...
People call out Dalia Lama to openly apologize to souls of slaves slayed by his serfdom. Tibetans love China government as it destroyed his serfdom and brought human rights. Dalai Lama was not happy with the reform so left China Tibet. How brutal was Dalai Lama's serfdom? They made Thangka or paintings on human skin, from LIVING slave girl's skin; Skull drum of Tibetan Buddhism, made from skulls of LIVING slave boy and girl; Skullcup, made from LIVING slave's skull; Skin scripture of Tibetan Buddhism, made from LIVING slave girl; Leg flute/trumpet/horn, made from legs of young LIVING slave girl; Bone prayer wheel of Tibetan Buddhism, made from LIVING slave's bones. Bone beads necklace or wrist lace, made from LIVING slave's bones; Bone walking stick, made from LIVING slave's leg.
