1:04:16 to 1,06,40 Question: ''Are refugees and the people dying of starvation suffering because of karma (bad behaviour in past lives)?'' The Dalai Lama said that We should try to help other people. If our best efforts don't work, then we can talk about karma. When people are suffering, it is lazy and wrong to blame karma, and not help. I think he also said that if you actually make confessions, or do practices and have a powerful experience of dharma, then your own karma can be removed.
