The website looks like it's still up. Though for $800+ it doesn't seem worth it anymore. $550 for the conversion plus the $250 for the lightsaber you have to mail back to them.

I forgot to mention, but wanted to suggest, that even if you don't have the Maul Shadow Collective hilt, that their is a very good chance that you might be able to use their core from the Ventress to get your own Disney Legacy saber converted over to a Neopixel w/Proffie saber, with very little if any additional modification.

Yes, it was worth every dollar. Also, I love the relationship you have with your son. God bless you both. In reality it’s cheaper than buying a saber from those companies that charge a arm and a leg. Then a lot of their work is not that good. I’ve seen people get installed sabers to have them not work or something goes wrong. Then you have send it back and wait forever. Brain is a blessing in disguise. I’m going to get him to do a saber for me. Take care. MTFBWY, Always

@JEREMY VILLARREAL CRUZ You're welcome. Generally it's probably better to just buy a prebuilt proffie saber from resellers. Crimson Dawn is where I bought my starter saber and now I've bought a saber core from them. (Saber core is the electronics, built to be easily inserted into a CD hilt.)

That legacy saber in that video you guys have from galaxy's edge is Rey's, it's from the rise of sky walker, it has a leather brown part in the middle that isn't on the anakin or Luke version of the saber

Yeah.. We use that as a comparison because it is identical to the Rey/Skywalker saber that got converted. Same sounds and blade color etc.... since we didn't have 2 Graflex legacy sabers.

Hi, great video. In order for the conversion service to be performed did you need to send the disney blade in order to have him trade-in or upgrade the neopixel blade? Just wondering if i could just send him the hilt and still get the neopixel blade upgrade.

Once you go Neopixel, you never go back lol. My senza from Sabertrio s my favorite in my saber collection. I actually got my old MR Vader Hilt converted to a similar setup like your converted saber. It's amazing. The graflex is the next one on my list. Awesome saber you guys. Thanks for giving me the itch to get my Luke hilt upgraded lol.

What's a good website to find neopixels you can duel with?

@@jasonkushinsky618 Generally if you're gonna get a saber strictly for dueling, I'd just go with a Tri cree RGB saber so you don't risk breaking $100 blades. However, most of the popular saber companies sabers like Sabertrio, Bendu Armory, Crimson Dawn, Saberforge etc can withstand dueling. What matters most is the type of Neopixel blade. Mid grade is NOT reccomended for dueling. You'd need a Heavy Grade blade from someone like Bendu Armory that can withstand a duel. Another thing you can do and I reccomend is buying a Neopixel to tri cree adapter that you can set inside your emitter, allowing you to use the $20 normal blades. Now with all that said, my favorite saber company for original sabers is Sabertrio by far. There sabers and customer service are second to none.

you might not want to duel with it heavy even tho it is a heavy grade blade since it’s neopixel. the leds can easily get damaged and those blades cost a pretty penny.

You were absolutely right. He could have made the small detail changes to make it a ANH saber... but I personally like the look of it being TFA saber. Good eyes Akbar!

I am highly considering purchasing 4 legacy lightsabers from the shop at downtown Disney. Would you recommend purchasing these lightsabers or should I go somewhere else? They are mainly for display not dueling.

Hey Ben, that's a great question. I actually think they make spectacular display sabers that are very movie accurate. Especially for the price. Even an empty help from a good company would run you like $300. Go for it bro!

What was you turn around time in the upgrade process?

Hey Mr. Ctosov, good question. I can't remember exactly but it was around 2 - 3 months. I think it's about an industry standard for that period of time. I would recommend preparing for three months and then being pleasantly surprised! Ha ha

Hey Roy. We have not converted all of our sabers to Neopixel so we have a handful of blades to go with our Galaxy's Edge sabers. Getting our saber converted changed all the electronics so we need to buy a special blade that is compatible and extremely thick so it can be dueled with. 👍🏻

A standard neopixel conversion for that saber is $575, not $350. There is no option to add to the cart a standard conversion.

I wish!! We have been building our cosplay wordrobe actually. And we had tickets to SW Celebration this year for our first time!... but as you guessed it was canceled.

do you have issues with the volume of the rey reforged legacy saber the volume on mines is really low i dont know if ithe battery has something to do with or is it like that please help?

Hey Master. The Ray re-forged is identical to the Ray in every way. If the volume is sounding low the blade will also look darker if it’s a battery problem I totally recommend buying a battery power checker on Amazon. They come in super handy!

Hey fly, I hope I mentioned it in the video. The major upgrade/conversion cost $350 I think, not including the blade. Which cost extra because it was a heavy dueling blade. Thanks so much for watching
