Tyanna's hair is moisturized, healthy, detangled and she is wearing her afro out because it's beautiful and she wanted to. There is nothing wrong with her natural hair. It does not need to be combed back or in a style 24/7. Her hair is very well taken care of and the hate is unnecessary.

Rhianna, we are sure you know that hate comes from some form of pain even though it doesn’t excuse it. I’m surprised that there are still people that aren’t aware of their own pain before they inflict it on someone else. Being African American and a woman (in my 60 yr old opinion) comes with certain traumas. One of the most painful is hair. We have brutalized each other and ourselves over the state of our hair since forever. It’s just in the last 30 years (and the Afro from the 60s) that we’ve begun to believe our own hair without efforts to assimilate is beautiful. We will get there someday. Some unhealthy habits die hard. Everything you and Jon have done for Tyanna is a joy to share, not the least of which is her hair. Forgive us our pain. What you are doing is helping to teach us all we are beautiful. We love you!

Baby's hair is perfectly fine. Keeping it braided and in style wouldn't be comfortable. Even us adults don't feel like keeping in style everytime. I can totally feel how comfortable she is with her beautiful natural hair. Lots of love to this family ❤

I scrolled to see if I could see the negative comments so I could give them a piece of my mind. I couldn’t find them so I hope the posters either deleted them or they were so negative they are at the bottom of the list. I am disappointed and mortified that anyone would comment negatively on this child gorgeous hair. Rhianna takes better care of Tyanna’s hair than most Black parents do. Black folks often don’t know how to do our natural hair. Rhianna has taken the time to learn about our real hair, not our hair with chemicals or weaves. The Schollers are the best!
