The man playing double bass, Georg Riedel, died a few days ago at the age of 90. He was a renowned jazz musician and composer for decades.

I love this song. ❤️ But I would say that it’s about finally finding the right one, the one you’ve been longing for and leaving all these other ones because they werent the one. But now she has finally found the right one and for her, the most beautiful person in the world. A beautiful love song, sometimes played at weddings. 😊

Kajsa Stina I saw/(met Kajsa Stina when she was a little child because I knew her father Fred Åkerström who was a famous Swedish folksinger. Kajsa Stina is also a painter. Greetings from Sweden

I think you missed the meaning. "Think about all the embraces I've left because I longed for you" means that you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince. This is a very popular song in weddings.

I hope you re-read the whole lyrics and then listen to the song once again. I think you'll interpret it differently. I wouldn't call this a sad song, tho she sings about how she's been waiting and now finally have met the right person for her. The tone, to me, is surely emotional and somewhat sentimental, but to me as Swede who both speak the language and heard this song sung in so many weddings it's more a sweet and happy sentimental tone than a sad one. A part of the lyrics translates to something like this: "Yes, all the days I walked so sorrowful and tired To meet the most beautiful person I've ever met There is no one who has appealed my heart so wonderfully With all your tenderness, you make sadness and pain slowly disappear All the shadows, all the darkness that used to be so apparent It disperses, and together we see the light rising with the pace of the sun"

Love your reactions! Can recommend Freddie Wadling. He did a live cover of a song called "känn ingen sorg för mig göteborg" by Håkan Hellström which is superb. Håkans original is not bad either :D
