Our First Apple Harvest, Jeremy's Memory Tree - The Tiny House Orchard is Becoming Productive

The first harvest of apples off our trees, and a tree in memory of my younger brother.

Join Fy Nyth on social media - mewe.com/i/fynyth ! If you are new to my channel and Fy Nyth (Welsh for "My Nest") in general, welcome! I'm Ariel. Along with my husband Clay, our dogs, cats, bees, and some poultry, we live in a tiny house on wheels in the mountains of western Wyoming and are working on setting into our own new little homestead. I've been living this lifestyle since 2014 and my wonderful partner has joined me more recently. What will you find if you follow the channel and watch the videos?
Real life here. I try to show the good and the bad. The ups and the downs. What works, and what doesn't. The parts I love (most of it!), and the things that suck. Not just the showroom version of a tiny house, but everyday life in a tiny house. Not just the romantic idea of "homesteading" or off grid life, but the everyday details of this lifestyle. We split wood for heat, fill the water tank from a gravity fed spring, and attempt to grow as much of our own food as possible between the weather and wildlife here. I hope to help others learn from mistakes and make life just a little easier for anyone else interested in pursuing a similar lifestyle.
We live in a somewhat harsh and cold climate, but enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife that we are surrounded by on a daily basis. You'll also see videos of the nature and wildlife around my home. If you are interested in my photography or purchasing a photo, I'd love if you follow that over at mewe.com/join/arielcelestepho... or ArielCelestePhotography.zenfolio.com!

A living tree in memory of a beloved life that was lost is just the nicest way to honor someone dear to you. I was not aware that Clay lost his daughter 💔. As a mother whose oldest daughter passed away 5 yrs. ago, I always feel a special heart tug whenever I hear of another parent who has had that tragedy. And, condolences to him on the loss of his mother, also 💔. What species are the different apples that you picked in this video? Has to be so satisfying….👌☺️

Like others here, I think the idea of planting a tree in memory of a loved one is so beautiful. Now you have “Jeremy’s apples” to enjoy. When each of my siblings (and me!) were born, my Grandfather planted a different tree. It was always so fun to check on “my tree” when we would go to visit him. I can’t think of a nicer way to honor someone - living or dead - than with planting a tree. Blessings to you and Clay!

It's so beautiful there. Thanks so much for finding the time to film for us. I love seeing your land and area you live in. It's so different than here... We're in Tucson, AZ, Sonoran Desert, zone 9b. Lovely here too but a little warm right now. (97 degree high and 65 low at night) Love your chickens, critters, sweet dogs and your gardens are amazing.

I absolutely loved this video, my eyes filled with tears over Jeremy’s tree, what a beautiful gift that you’ll enjoy for many years to come. Very much looking forward to Holly’s tree in the future. I’m planted a Granny Smith and a McIntosh tree last year. The GS had a couple of apples growing and a squirrel jumped to get them and broke the entire branch. Such is the nature of nature, hopefully next year will be better. I think you should bake a pie with those apples Ariel.🤗
