Our Favorite Thrifted Book Finds This Spring!
Today we're sharing our favorite thrifted book finds so far this spring.
We have been busy visiting our favorite thrift and used book stores in search of new book treasures... and we have found many! We have several new to us titles across the board (religious, classics, vintage, children's and more!) that we are very excited to show you and, of course, to read. We're also showcasing some of the picture-book inspired art we have created here. A good book is a joy and an inspiration, and spring is a great time to pull up a new book- or an old favorite- and enjoy a great story. Spring reads, here we come!

This video is about our recent favorite thrifted book hauls from this spring (2022). These books are not only great to read, they inspire us to create bookish rock art (who knew we are artists here!). Thrifted children's books provide a great array of art ideas for us, and we love reading them as well as painting our favorite book characters. 1. I thought the Lego book taught very concisely what can be complicated material when trying to explain sacraments. It's a great gift idea for any reason! 2. I've heard Mortimer's book to be recommended on so many sites that I really hope you come back and tell us about it more in depth. 3. The Catholic Mother's book also is intriguing with its specific ages and lessons--another one that I hope you come back and tell us more about. 4. Also a closet Maisy fan! The kids have long ago grown out of a Maisy vhs and I just can't let it go! lol!

My oldest daughter had a Maisy lift-a-flap book when she was younger. When our grandson was born, I had his 5 aunts and uncles choose their favorite childhood book to gift him. We were so excited when we found a copy of the same Maisy book my daughter loved so much. I love the rock idea! Y'all are so fun!
