I made my first pair of patch pants this summer with all handmade patches, it was such a fun project and I loved painting the patches by hand and making them for whatever band I'm into at the moment

Good to see you guys back .i am a punk rocker from the uk and have been for quite some years now .but just got In to diy and started on a Denim jacket what's the best way to puncher holes on Denim and what's the best studs to buy .

You should do a punk trench coat with a bunch of patches on it and a little bit of studs that's what I did and it needs to be khaki color. Also glad you're uploading

10:08 - Yea peeps, patches can be acquired all over the place. The main place to get em is at live shows (like they mention) but there's different distributions that sell em as well. I used to get a lot of mine bk in the day from MASS MEDIA RECORDS, HAVOC RECORDS, CATCHPHRASE RECORDS etc... These are mainly punk distros so keep that in mind. It's been about 2 decades since I've done so but maybe they're still active. Only one way to find out..

hahaha so glad were not the only ones who have a backstock like crazy!! for a few years we were buying them more than we were creating and it caught up with us!

I made my first best at age 12, but I cut shit up since I was about 8 and for my first vest I literally just took fabric and wrote band names with pens. Also you guys are awesome! Rock on! 🤘

did anyone remember using split pins (the metal ones that hold paper together ) as studs when studs were super expensive and hard to get hold of? I was lucky my mum taught me to sew when I was 7 ish so have always diy-ed in one way or another

+Livingdeadgirll yeah when I was in high school we used to use split pins we found or got cheap from stationery shops.

my favourite band's Motörhead it always has a special place in my heart even though I don't listen daily, got a few jackets of my own if you want to have a look at them, uploading more of them soon and I do that with the belts I buy an XL small pyramid version for £15 (from the UK) I also have a belt that I added chains and loops to, which I'll upload aswell at some point

07:30 - Ok, so the reasons I don't glue my pins is cuz my jacket isn't leather (cuz I'm vegan) so when I do decide to wash it, I'd prefer to remove them when I do so they don't get all stained and fucked up. Part of me REALLLLLLLLY wants to glue them but I...kinda..dont know how😬🤷‍♂️. Anyway, maybe eventually I will glue them. I've lost 10 or less pins over the years and there's def a few that I REALLLLLLLLY miss so I should glue em. Do u guys have any good recommendations on how to glue pims on properly?🤷‍♂️🤔

Well, than its an open market! Start making your own videos about those topics. Not many people in bands have that extra free time to edit and upload. If they do, they havent thought about it! Neither of us play instruments, so youre in the wrong place for that kind of content!

To clean a leather vest, you can use leather furniture wipes/ spray. Definitely don’t put water on leather.

Freeze to kill the bacteria and spray with frebreeze if they are very bad soak with soap in a bucket

We do the same method, bath soaks with detergent. Then a good solid rinse afterwards!

??? the tall english 77's are just under 40$ for 1000. We've purchased through cheaper websites but they dont have the same quality to them that studs and spikes has. Plus S&S has a points rewards system. Its just our go-to for the last 4 years, so its what comes to mind, obviously do your research and find whats in your budget. We're two working 27 year olds, so we have the coin to spend.
